Over the years, the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization and the children's movement in An Giang province have been continuously strengthened and developed. The number and quality of members have steadily increased. Many members have strived to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies, many students have achieved high academic and training results, and many outstanding members have been recognized as "Good Children of Uncle Ho." This achievement is partly due to the significant contributions of the teachers serving as Head of the Young Pioneers Organization in training, educating , and nurturing the knowledge and character of the members and students.

Standing out in this overall picture is Ms. Ho Cam Kim, the Head of the Youth Union at Lac Quoi Junior High School in Ba Chuc commune. For nearly two decades, she has dedicated herself to teaching children in this sun-drenched, windswept border region, remaining steadfast in her profession with all her love and devotion. Ms. Kim recalls the early days of teaching Khmer children amidst countless hardships. With the strength and heart of a teacher, she has gradually become a solid pillar of support, igniting the flame of aspiration for school and a thirst for knowledge in countless generations of young children in this remote border area of ​​the country.

To create a practical and beneficial platform for teachers serving as Head of the Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union, recently organized the "Excellent Teacher in Charge of the Youth Union" competition for the 2025-2026 school year. The competition attracted 80 outstanding teachers from primary and secondary schools throughout the province. According to Cao Quoc Dien, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, the competition is an opportunity to honor the professional competence, work skills, and pedagogical qualities of the teachers in charge of the Youth Union.
