The entire Vietnamese people are determined to dedicate all their spirit and strength, lives and property to uphold that right to freedom and independence” - that sacred oath of independence is an immortal declaration of the right to national self-determination, becoming the red thread running through the journey of nation-building, national defense and national development.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd, we commemorate the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the millions of heroic martyrs, compatriots, and soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the independence of our nation.
