Machinery manufacturer for farmers

Linh Machinery Manufacturing Company Limited (in Binh Phuoc Ward, Dong Nai Province) is manufacturing and supplying to the market many types of machinery serving agricultural production. The products of this enterprise are not only consumed well in provinces and cities across the country but also exported to some countries in the region such as Laos and Cambodia. The enterprise was honored in the Top 3 of Vietnam Innovation Hub Award 2023, Innovation Award 2023.

The business owner is Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, a farmer who started his business investing in manufacturing and producing agricultural machinery, also based on actual production needs. Thanks to his achievements in inventions and innovations in agricultural machinery production, Mr. Linh was honored as a Farmer Scientist in 2024 and won the title of Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer in 2025.

Based on practice

The opportunity for young farmer Nguyen Van Linh to become involved in inventing and manufacturing agricultural machinery began when he researched and developed a few tools and machines to use in his own garden. Neighboring farmers saw the effectiveness, hired him to provide services, and then some ordered the machines.

Seeing the great market potential, Mr. Linh started to produce agricultural machinery to supply to the market. His products are known to customers all over the country thanks to farmers who bought them, used them effectively, and then introduced them to many people.

My biggest aspiration is to contribute my part in developing mechanization for Vietnam. I hope to access funding to produce many agricultural machinery products with more accessible prices and higher quality.

In 2023, Linh Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established. The farmer-born business owner Nguyen Van Linh shared: “I am a barefoot farmer, so the journey to becoming the owner of a business manufacturing and producing agricultural machinery is very difficult. I did not learn much from school, all the knowledge I have accumulated so far in the machinery manufacturing profession comes from actual work and from the requirements of serving farmers' production. I went to school to become a lathe mechanic and opened a facility specializing in repairing agricultural tools and machinery for farmers. The process of researching, tinkering with repairs, understanding the structure and operating mechanism of many types of domestically produced and imported machinery has helped me accumulate a lot of knowledge.”

Mr. Linh added: “My point of view when manufacturing machines is to make machines that are simple, easy to operate, and easy to find replacement parts for farmers to use. In manufacturing machines, I often listen very carefully to farmers' product needs to advise and design the most suitable machine. I engrave the company name and phone number on the product so that machine users can call immediately if they need anything.”

Mr. Linh admits that he chose a slow but steady path of learning. When he established his business, he began to explore and learn about management, market development, and product branding. The core thing he always focused on maintaining was his reputation for quality.

Mr. Linh said: “My joy is that people who use the machines see good results, they call to thank me, sometimes give me durian or chicken, but in that there is a great recognition. This creates a great motivation for me to continue to stick with what I am doing.”

Aspiration to contribute to agricultural mechanization

Linh Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is manufacturing and supplying the market with 8 lines of agricultural machinery products, including: rubber latex pumps, rubber leaf blowers, drainage ditch digging and pipe burying machines, chopping shaft grass cutters, compact improved pesticide sprayers specialized in durian, orange, grapefruit gardens; multi-purpose pesticide sprayers... The prices of the above products range from several tens of millions to several hundreds of millions of VND, depending on capacity and type.

Talking about the products that are popular in the market, Mr. Linh shared: “The “5 in 1” multi-function pesticide sprayer is my favorite product, I made it more than 10 years ago but it is still the “king” product in the current pesticide sprayer market. The machine integrates many functions such as: spraying; fumigation system to kill pests; voltage system to kill stem borers, a very difficult to treat pest on fruit trees today; and also integrates a leaf blower system to prevent and fight garden fires. In particular, the spraying function of the machine has many advantages when it can contain one thousand liters of pesticides, in one hour it can spray 3 hectares of crops. In particular, the machine can spray pesticides higher than 30m, designed to spray very fine particles; the machine has a wind system to push the pesticide layer very far, penetrating every corner of the leaves and tree trunks, the pesticide layer is divided into 2 layers from the bottom spraying up and the top covering down, so it is optimal in killing pests This machine helps save 25% of pesticides, saving dozens of labors compared to the traditional method. In particular, using the machine only requires one person who knows how to operate the plow, without needing highly skilled workers.

The products of the farmer Nguyen Van Linh who loves to make things have greatly contributed to the mechanization of agricultural production, helping to liberate labor, reduce costs and increase production efficiency for farmers. Mr. Linh is still making efforts every day to improve and enhance the quality of his products.
