Muong Man was a writer, but at the age of 17, he was already the author of many beautiful poems: “ …My hand misses someone, my hand is confused/My dress longs for someone, its two flaps fluttering/The road home passes through many flower-filled lanes/Don’t glance at the bees and butterflies .” In another poem, he wrote: “ That since I wore dust on my shoulders/The year wasn’t long enough, the months have already passed/The one who goes searching for leaves is filled with sorrow/I return to light a fire to warm the words of wind and rain .” Besides writing prose and poetry, he was also passionate about painting since his high school days at Hue National High School, and in his later years, he focused on his youthful passion for painting.

Commenting on writer Mường Mán's work in this... unrelated field, poet Lê Minh Quốc once shared in the People's Police newspaper : "With what he has painted, I think writer Mường Mán has been and is still finding a different path, with the sole purpose of expressing the emotions and inspiration of a creative person. If not prose, then poetry. If not poetry, then painting. Mường Mán has experienced it all. This is very commendable and worthy of recognition. Ultimately, writing or painting is for oneself. A multi-talented writer, Muong Man also wrote screenplays for films such as " The Insider" (1987), "The Story of the Seven Crossroads " (or "The Sound of the Zither "), "Wind Through the Dark and Bright Regions " (co-written, 30 episodes), "Moon Without Seasons" , "Destiny" (16 episodes)... Starting his career as a writer from Can Tho , he worked at Phuong Nam Cultural Company through the introduction of writer Nguyen Ho. He diligently created literature, and within just one year, he was able to buy a plot of land worth 7 gold bars in the old Go Vap District (Ho Chi Minh City), a "record" that his colleagues all admired.

According to information from the family, the funeral of writer Muong Man (real name Tran Van Quang, Buddhist name: Nguyen Tu, born in 1947) will be held at his private residence on Nguyen Van Khoi Street, Thong Tay Hoi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The embalming ceremony will take place at 6:00 AM on January 29th and the funeral procession will begin at 6:00 AM on January 31st, after which the remains will be cremated at Binh Hung Hoa crematorium, Ho Chi Minh City.
