Reporting at the meeting, the People's Committee of Phu Thinh town and the People's Committee of Tam Vinh commune said that 100% of voters (3,606 people) of Phu Thinh town and more than 96.7% of voters of Tam Vinh commune (3,798 people) agreed with the project to merge Phu Thinh town and Tam Vinh commune to establish a new commune-level administrative unit of the People's Committee of Phu Ninh district.
Based on the submission and inspection report, delegates of Phu Thinh Town People's Council and Tam Vinh Commune People's Council discussed and unanimously voted to pass a resolution approving the policy of merging Tam Vinh commune and Phu Thinh town into Phu Thinh town, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province.
Unify the contents of merging Tam Vinh commune and Phu Thinh town into Phu Thinh town by merging the entire natural area and population size of Tam Vinh commune (with a natural area of 13.84km2, reaching 46.13% and a population size of 5,626 people, reaching 70.33% compared to the standard) and Phu Thinh town (with a natural area of 96.48km2, reaching 46.29% and a population size of 5,348 people, reaching 66.85% compared to the standard) to newly establish Phu Thinh town, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province.
