Numerous personnel changes in Khanh Hoa

(NLĐO) - On the afternoon of February 20th, the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions and resolutions on organizational restructuring and personnel matters.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided: to transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Chi Hieu - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment - to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee and to hold the position of Secretary of the Ninh Hoa Town Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025; and to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Sy Khanh - Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - to participate in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee and to hold the position of Secretary of the Khanh Vinh District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

In addition, Mr. Mau Van Phi, Secretary of the Khanh Vinh District Party Committee, was transferred to the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to be nominated for election as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term; Ms. Le Vinh Lien Trang, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, was transferred and appointed as Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and Mr. Tong Tran, Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ninh Hoa town, was granted leave of absence at his own request, effective February 20, 2025.

At the conference, the Provincial People's Committee announced decisions on personnel matters in the newly established departments and agencies based on mergers and consolidations. Specifically, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued decisions to transfer and appoint Mr. Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment - to the position of Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - to the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports - to the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan - Director of the Department of Information and Communications - to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Simultaneously, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued decisions appointing Mr. Tran Van Chau as Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Vo Chi Vuong as Director of the Department of Internal Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha as Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Mr. Vo Nam Thang - Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee - as Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; and Mr. Dang Huu Tai - Director of the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Projects - as Director of the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Transportation Projects, effective from February 20, 2025.

In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to transfer, appoint, and appoint: 5 officials to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, 7 officials to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, 5 officials to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, and 5 officials to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Four officials hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology. Five officials hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs, seven officials hold the position of Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office, and three officials hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion.

Also at the conference, the Provincial People's Committee announced the following decisions: Transferring and nominating Mr. Duong Nam Khanh - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs - to work at the Provincial Red Cross Society to be elected as Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society for the 2020-2025 term; transferring and appointing Mr. Pham Thai Dai - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health; transferring and appointing Mr. Van Dinh Tri - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - to the position of... The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training will continue to serve until he reaches the legally prescribed retirement age.

The Provincial People's Committee announced decisions on early retirement for Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism and Mr. Vinh Thong - Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Deputy Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council; and Mr. Quach Thanh Son - Director of the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Projects.
