Party branch secretary and head of Quan Trung 2 village, Thieu Tien commune, Hoang Dinh Noi (second from the right), is promoting and encouraging people to actively participate in maintaining security and order during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
With over 20 years of experience as Party Secretary and Head of Quan Trung 2 village, Thieu Tien commune, Mr. Hoang Dinh Noi has always been dedicated to his work, earning the trust and respect of the people. Along with encouraging the people to actively develop their family economies , he mobilized the people to contribute nearly 800 million VND, donate 200 square meters of land, and contribute thousands of man-days to the construction of various projects, helping Quan Trung 2 village achieve the model new rural standard in 2023.
In implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, with a spirit of mutual support and compassion, the people of Quan Trung 2 village have donated over 70 million VND to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households still facing housing difficulties. Mr. Noi shared: “Promoting the principle of democratic centralism is the key to achieving high results in building a model new rural village; in which, the people are the main subjects, the center of direct participation in planning, supervision, and benefiting, ensuring transparency and openness. Currently, 100% of the village roads have been concreted, making them neat, clean, and beautiful. Along the roads are green trees and many kinds of flowers. What makes the people happiest is that the village has 367 households with 1,382 inhabitants, but there are no poor households, and the people's lives are constantly improving.”
Having served as Party Secretary and Head of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Da village, Tho Phu commune for many years, Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep's secret to success lies in his closeness to the people, his enthusiasm, dedication, and perseverance. When people face difficulties, he promptly reports, makes recommendations, and advises higher authorities to resolve them. When he learns of poor households in need of assistance, he mobilizes the people and local authorities to provide support. In particular, he is very active in community-beneficial projects. A prime example is his mobilization of the people to donate over 10,000 square meters of land, over 2,500 square meters of structures, 6,500 square meters of fences, and 270 house gates... to expand and upgrade over 4.5 kilometers of road from 5.5 meters to 8.5 meters. According to Mr. Hiep, to mobilize the people's strength, the leader must closely coordinate with the Party branch, the village head, and influential figures in the family clan to flexibly employ various forms of propaganda. When there is consensus, willingness, and self-awareness among the people, nothing is impossible. In implementation, transparency and adherence to criteria and quality standards are essential to building public trust.
It can be said that most grassroots movements and campaigns have benefited from the active participation of grassroots officials in propaganda and mobilization. The Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Tho Phu commune, Le Tien Dung, affirmed: “The active work of the Party branch secretaries, village heads, and heads of the Fatherland Front committees has contributed to promoting widespread emulation movements among all strata of the people, arousing patriotism and the internal strength of the community. The renewal of working styles and methods towards a people-centered approach by grassroots officials and the consensus of the people are the foundation that helps Tho Phu commune successfully achieve its set goals and tasks.”
As the Party Branch Secretary and Head of Van Hung Village, Hoat Giang Commune, Mr. Le Ba Dung always strives to be a role model, ensuring his words match his actions, fostering unity within the Party branch, and gaining the people's consensus to effectively implement local emulation movements. In particular, in mobilizing the people to donate land for road expansion, he and the Party branch committee actively encouraged Party members to take the lead. Many Party member families pioneered the donation of land and contributed money to road expansion. Following the example of these Party members, in a short time, 99 households in the village donated nearly 5,000 square meters of land to expand a nearly 1km long road from 1.5m to 3.5m; and contributed nearly 500 million VND to renovate the village's cultural house... In economic development, many Party members boldly invested capital and introduced new crops into production, yielding high economic returns and creating a ripple effect within the community. Currently, the village has 3 integrated farms, generating income of 220-400 million VND per year, of which 2 are owned by Party members.
Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Hoat Giang commune, Vu Van Hoa, affirmed: "The team of Party branch secretaries, village heads, and heads of the Fatherland Front committees play a core role, acting as a direct bridge between the Party and the people, determining the success or failure in implementing policies. Especially in the context of preparing for the 16th National Assembly elections and the People's Council elections at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, they are the key figures in propaganda, mobilization, understanding people's sentiments, maintaining security at the grassroots level, and ensuring people's consensus."
