Putting people's interests first

Being devoted to his work and being an exemplary leader in local movements and activities is the comment of the people about Mr. Do Van Huy - Party Cell Secretary and Head of Residential Group 1, Hoa Binh Ward. Having matured from the Youth Union work, Mr. Huy is always close to the people, respects the people, goes deep, goes close, promptly grasps the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly resolve them.

For each movement and campaign, he asked for the Party Committee's policy, then held a meeting with the political system and the people to get their opinions and suggestions; clearly explained the issues that people were concerned about and then set an example for people to follow, avoiding the situation of "launching but not accompanying". For individuals and households that did well, he proposed timely commendation and rewards, creating a ripple effect in the community.

Mr. Huy shared: “If you want others to listen, you must be a good example yourself, from small to big things. “Talking is good, doing is good” is the only way to create trust among party members and the masses.”

From 2024 to present, residential group 1 has mobilized people to contribute 105 million VND to install 87 lighting bulbs; concretize nearly 2 km of inner-village roads with a total cost of nearly 2.5 billion VND, of which people contributed 170 million VND.

Mr. Huy himself is a pioneer in economic development. In 2021, he boldly implemented a model of growing male papaya trees for medicinal flowers on an area of ​​0.5 hectares and has maintained it until now. The model won second prize in the "5th Creative Startup Ideas - 2021" contest organized by the Provincial Youth Union. In addition, he cultivates 2 hectares of sugarcane and 6 sao of rice. The comprehensive economic model brings his family an income of over 150 million VND/year.

In order to create jobs for local workers, Mr. Huy established a 50-member sugarcane loading and cutting team. He took on jobs from businesses and then assigned the work to the team members. Thanks to that, the members had regular jobs with an income of nearly 10 million VND/person/month.

“Residential Group 1 has 317 households. By the end of 2024, the group will have no more poor households, only 1 near-poor household, a decrease of 2 poor households and 13 near-poor households compared to 2023. Each year, the Party Cell admits 1 new party member, ensuring the target assigned by the superiors, bringing the total number of Party Cell members to 30 people,” Mr. Huy added.

Dedicated to dear students

Over the years, Mr. Tran Van Chuyen - Head of the Youth Union of Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Doan Ket Ward) has always focused on building a student-centered educational environment, being exemplary in work, and being loved by colleagues and students.

As the Team Leader, Mr. Chuyen actively advises the Party Committee and the School Board to organize many extracurricular activities, arts, sports, and launch competitions for 9-10 points, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among students. The Team regularly coordinates with functional forces to propagate traffic safety, school security, etc. to help improve knowledge and skills for students.

Ms. Ha Thi Thu Huyen - Head of the Organization Committee of Ayun Pa City Party Committee : Comrades Do Van Huy and Tran Van Chuyen are 2 of 5 party members awarded certificates of merit by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for meeting the standards of excellently completing tasks for 5 consecutive years (2019-2023).

Assigned to teach Physics for grade 8, Mr. Chuyen always focuses on his expertise, prepares lessons in an innovative way, applies active teaching methods and techniques towards developing capacity and qualities, suitable for the level and psychology of students so that they can absorb the lessons effectively. With good professional capacity and passion for the profession, for many years, he has been assigned to guide and train a team of excellent Physics students.

The quality of key students has thus been continuously improved. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school's Physics team won 7/10 prizes at the town-level 9th ​​grade excellent student selection competition and 3 prizes at the provincial-level 9th ​​grade excellent student selection competition, including 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes. This is also the subject with the most prizes and the highest prize in the town during the school year.

“I always try to pass on my enthusiasm, passion, knowledge and experience to my students. The achievements of my students are the greatest gift for me as a teacher,” Mr. Chuyen confided. With the results achieved, from the 2019-2020 school year to now, Mr. Chuyen has been continuously recognized as a Basic Emulation Fighter; in the 2022-2023 school year, he was a Provincial Emulation Fighter; in the 2023-2024 school year, he was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in the work of the Team and the youth movement.
