(GLO) - With the motto "words speak, actions follow," exemplary Party members in Ayun Pa town have played a pioneering and exemplary role in all emulation movements at the grassroots level. Their dedication contributes to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and working together to build a more developed locality.

Committed to his work and a leading example in local movements and activities, this is how people describe Mr. Do Van Huy, Party Secretary and Head of Neighborhood Group 1, Hoa Binh Ward. Having risen through the ranks of the Youth Union, Mr. Huy is always close to the people, respecting their needs, and diligently understanding their legitimate concerns and aspirations to address them promptly.

For each movement and campaign, he always seeks approval from the commune Party Committee, then holds meetings with the political system and the people to gather feedback; he clearly explains the issues that people are concerned about, and then sets a good example to lead the way for others to follow, avoiding the situation of "launching a campaign but not participating." For individuals and households that do well, he always proposes timely commendation and rewards, creating a ripple effect in the community.

Huy shared: "If you want others to listen to you, you must set a good example and lead the way, from small things to big things. 'Speaking and acting at the same time' is the only way to build trust with Party members and the people."

From 2024 to the present, residential group 1 has mobilized residents to contribute 105 million VND to install 87 streetlights; and concreted nearly 2 km of internal village roads with a total cost of nearly 2.5 billion VND, of which residents contributed 170 million VND.

Mr. Huy himself is a pioneer in economic development. In 2021, he boldly implemented a model of growing male papaya trees for their flowers, which are used as medicinal herbs, on an area of ​​0.5 hectares and has maintained it to this day. The model won second prize in the "5th Creative Startup Ideas Competition - 2021" organized by the Provincial Youth Union. In addition, he cultivates 2 hectares of sugarcane and 6 sao (approximately 0.6 hectares) of rice. This integrated economic model brings his family an income of over 150 million VND per year.

To create jobs for local workers, Mr. Huy established a sugarcane loading and cutting team with 50 members. He takes on jobs from businesses and then distributes the work to the team members. As a result, the members have regular work with an income of nearly 10 million VND per person per month.

“Residential area 1 has 317 households. By the end of 2024, the area will no longer have any poor households, only 1 near-poor household, a reduction of 2 poor households and 13 near-poor households compared to 2023. Each year, the Party branch admits 1 new Party member, ensuring the target assigned by the higher level, raising the total number of Party members in the branch to 30,” Mr. Huy added.

Over the years, Mr. Tran Van Chuyen, the Head Teacher in charge of the Youth Union at Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Doan Ket Ward), has always focused on building a student-centered educational environment, setting a good example in his work, and earning the affection of his colleagues and students.

As the Head of the Youth Union, Mr. Chuyen actively advised the Party Committee and the School Board on organizing many extracurricular activities, arts and sports events, and launched campaigns to promote the "Flower of 9-10 Points" competition, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among students. The Youth Union regularly coordinated with functional forces to disseminate information on traffic safety and school security, helping to improve the knowledge and skills of students.

Ms. Ha Thi Thu Huyen - Head of the Organization Department of the Ayun Pa Town Party Committee : Comrades Do Van Huy and Tran Van Chuyen are two of the five Party members who received certificates of commendation from the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee for achieving outstanding performance for five consecutive years (2019-2023).

Assigned to teach Physics to 8th graders, Mr. Chuyen always prioritizes expertise, preparing lessons in an innovative way, applying active teaching methods and techniques aimed at developing students' abilities and qualities, and adapting them to the students' level and psychology to ensure effective learning. With his excellent professional skills and dedication to his profession, for many years he has been entrusted with guiding and training the Physics gifted student team.

As a result, the quality of our top-performing students has continuously improved. In the 2023-2024 school year, the school's Physics team won 7 out of 10 prizes at the Grade 9 gifted student selection exam at the town level and 3 prizes at the Provincial level, including 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes. This was also the subject with the most and highest-ranking prizes in the town during the school year.

“I always strive to instill enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, and experience in my students. Their achievements are the greatest gift to a teacher,” Mr. Chuyen believes. With these achievements, from the 2019-2020 school year to the present, Mr. Chuyen has consistently been recognized as an outstanding teacher at the grassroots level; in the 2022-2023 school year, he was recognized as an outstanding teacher at the provincial level; and in the 2023-2024 school year, he received a commendation from the Provincial Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in youth work and youth movements.
