For ease of reference, the author has structured the 100 representative sayings of Uncle Ho into three parts: Part I "The Fatherland, the Nation, and the People" (35 sayings); Part II "The Party, the State, cadres, and Party members must be dedicated servants and loyal servants of the people" (35 sayings); Part III "Women, youth, teenagers, and children strive to compete in learning and practicing diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, and selflessness to serve the Fatherland and the people" (30 sayings).

Explaining the reason for selecting only 100 representative quotes of President Ho Chi Minh for analysis and commentary in this book, Professor and Doctor Hoang Chi Bao shared with a reporter from the People's Army Newspaper that the number 100 symbolizes the completeness and wholeness of a person and their life.

These sayings are considered famous quotes, remembered and passed down by people both domestically and internationally, such as: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom," "Unity, unity, great unity. Success, success, great success," "In the sky, nothing is more precious than the people. In the world, nothing is stronger than the united force of the people," "All benefits are for the people. All power belongs to the people," "Nothing is difficult / Only fear of a lack of perseverance / Digging mountains and filling seas / With determination, it will be accomplished"...

According to the author, the number 100 is symbolic, emphasizing that throughout his life, Uncle Ho was utterly devoted to the country and loyal to the people. Uncle Ho is a shining example for everyone and for generations to come. The number 100 helps us to easily remember, to cherish, and to strive to practice and do well the teachings of Uncle Ho. The book "The Light of Faith and Hope," with its 100 famous quotes of Uncle Ho, is merely a limited, symbolic number chosen by the author with a message for each reader: "We will strive to extend our understanding of Uncle Ho not only through these 100 quotes, but also through his entire life and career. This is necessary and a matter of reason, but also a wish for empathy from each of us, like a voice rising from the soul, like a prompting from the heart of each person towards Uncle Ho."

Each representative quote of President Ho Chi Minh is selected and analyzed by the author, commenting on the value and meaning of each quote with annotations and explanations of its origin, context, and connection to events in the President's life and activities. For example, the poem "Our people must know our history / To understand the origins of our Vietnamese nation" are the first two lines of a document titled "History of Our Country," first published by the Viet Minh Propaganda Department in February 1942 in Cao Bang. This was a training document for cadres, written by Nguyen Ai Quoc in verse in the form of a narrative poem, easy to remember and learn, for propaganda among the people.

Writing about the famous poem in the document "History of Our Country," the author comments: "That is the talent of a leader. He was a master propagandist and agitator of the Vietnamese revolution... The lesson history teaches us is that unity leads to survival and victory. Disunity and division lead to failure. This is indeed the law of all ages. Furthermore, at the end of the work, after listing the chronological order of dynasties and typical historical events, Nguyen Ai Quoc predicted: '1945: Vietnam is independent.' History unfolded exactly as predicted and prophesied by him."

Cultivating public service ethics according to the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh.
Cultivating public service ethics according to the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh.During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh placed special emphasis on building and cultivating public service ethics for cadres, civil servants, and public employees. He stressed this point in many works such as: "Correcting Working Methods" (1947); "Diligence, Frugality, Integrity, and Righteousness" (1949); "Combating Bureaucracy, Corruption, and Waste" (1952)... Following his teachings, Phu Tho province has made many efforts to realize the goal of building a team of honest, dedicated cadres, civil servants, and public employees; ensuring a balance between integrity and efficiency in public service.

When Nguyễn Ái Quốc made this prediction, around the end of 1941, he had already completed "The History of Our Country," and the work was only printed in early 1942. Yet, just over four years later, the August Revolution broke out, proving his prediction to be true. "The History of Our Country" is a widely accessible yet remarkable document for educating us about patriotism and pride in our national traditions, and it remains valuable and relevant to this day, even after more than eight decades.

True to its title, "The Light of Faith and Hope," each article is not only the culmination of the emotions, dedication, intellect, effort, and creative achievements of a "Ho Chi Minh scholar," but also a transmission and transmission of faith, inspiring each reader to cherish and be proud of our great Uncle Ho – "the one who brought glory to our nation, our people, and our country." The light emanating from Uncle Ho's life and revolutionary career shines brightly in every word and phrase, like a guiding halo leading us towards a beautiful, civilized, and happy life.
