Besides striving to fulfill signed orders, businesses are also actively and proactively implementing various solutions to diversify markets, increase sustainable production capacity, and adapt to unpredictable fluctuations in tariff policies.

Production continues to grow.

The last few months of the year are always a peak period for many manufacturing industries, catering to both export and domestic consumption. Production during this period typically sees stronger order growth compared to previous months.

Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Phu Cuong Industrial Cluster) is striving to complete orders for the fourth quarter of 2025 and is continuously recruiting garment workers to fulfill signed contracts. With stable production and abundant orders, the company is launching emulation campaigns to encourage workers to increase productivity and product quality. The entire company aims to achieve a revenue target of $16.5 million USD this year.

For Pacific Garment Joint Stock Company (Dau Giay Industrial Park), orders are growing steadily, and the company has planned production until the beginning of next year. The company needs to attract hundreds more workers to expand production and serve exports to Japan. To attract workers, the company has implemented preferential policies, especially productivity bonuses, to ensure workers feel secure and motivated.

Similarly, despite facing numerous pressures, the wood and furniture industry still achieved exports of $12.5 billion in the first nine months of 2025, a 6.5% increase compared to the same period last year. This result demonstrates the significant efforts of businesses in maintaining growth amidst numerous obstacles. Businesses in the industry have proactively and flexibly adapted to the increasingly high demands of the market, especially the trend of consuming "green" products; while focusing on improving production capacity, innovating designs, and expanding and diversifying export markets.

Mr. Tran Duc Anh, Director of Happyco Joint Stock Company (Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province), believes that opportunities for the wood production industry are still abundant. Recently, many foreign partners have contacted the company to explore cooperation opportunities. Happyco is also gradually improving its productivity, quality, and capacity to meet the increasingly high standards of the market.

According to a survey by Dong Nai Statistics, production is expected to be more favorable in the fourth quarter of 2025. Up to 34.2% of businesses in the processing and manufacturing sector predict an increase in production and business, while only 12.8% assess a decrease compared to the previous quarter.

Be proactive in the face of changes.

According to economist Dr. Can Van Luc from the Institute of Training and Research of the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank ( BIDV ), the Vietnamese economy in the first nine months of 2025 showed many positive signs: GDP growth of 7.85%, the highest compared to the same period in the past 14 years; macroeconomic stability was basically maintained, and major balances were ensured. This year, with the growth developments in the past nine months, the forecast for the whole year is that GDP growth could reach 8.2% or even higher.

To sustain high growth, Mr. Luc recommended accelerating substantive improvements in the investment and business environment; proactively and flexibly adapting to US tariff policies; supporting businesses in diversifying markets and partners, better exploiting free trade agreements (FTAs); connecting domestic businesses with foreign direct investment (FDI) businesses to exploit cooperation potential… Simultaneously, effectively implementing policies to stimulate consumer demand; renewing traditional growth drivers and strongly promoting new growth drivers.

For the business community, production is growing in many units; however, the international market remains volatile. Developments in trade and geopolitics , especially the increasingly unpredictable actions of major countries regarding trade protectionism, import tariffs, and anti-dumping measures, are causing significant concern. This could lead to pressure on production costs and prices, and disruptions in the supply chain of raw materials and components. Businesses must proactively respond to these unpredictable developments.

Ms. Nguyen Huyen Trang, Director of Nhat Tin An Packaging Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park), said: Currently, the domestic cardboard market is experiencing strong fluctuations, with high input material prices and scarce supply. This is a common difficulty for the entire packaging industry, directly affecting production and delivery schedules. However, Nhat Tin An has many years of experience and a stable supply system, always proactively securing high-quality raw materials. Thanks to this, the company is committed to ensuring production and delivery on time; maintaining high packaging quality standards; and always accompanying customers through this volatile market period.
