The special political and artistic program "Echoes of the Fatherland," directed by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and jointly produced by Vietnam Television, the Hanoi People's Committee, and related units, will be held on April 28th at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi). This program marks the beginning of a series of political and artistic programs titled "Proud to be Vietnamese" in 2026.
The "Echoes of the Fatherland" event was organized in the atmosphere of the whole country looking forward to many important milestones of the nation such as: celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in 2026-2031, 51 years since the Liberation of the South and reunification of the country, 140 years since International Labor Day, 72 years since the Dien Bien Phu Victory, 136 years since the birth of President Ho Chi Minh and 67 years since the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail.


The elaborately staged program, with an audience of approximately 40,000, brought together over 2,000 artists and actors, along with 500 officers and soldiers of the People's Armed Forces. With a total duration of 150 minutes, "Echoes of the Fatherland" was divided into two parts: Part I, lasting 90 minutes, comprised three chapters – "Epic on the Bronze Drum , " "Echoes of History, " and "Aspiration for Vietnam" ; and Part II, lasting 60 minutes, was dedicated to young people. The performance concluded with a spectacular fireworks display over the capital city.
The program features many beloved artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, Duong Hoang Yen, Lam Bao Ngoc, Pham Anh Khoa... In addition, "Echoes of the Homeland" also includes veteran artists such as People's Artist Duong Minh Duc, People's Artist Ha Thuy, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi…
The convergence of multiple generations of artists, diverse performance styles, and musical languages creates a unique character for the program: modern yet deeply rooted in identity, heroic yet profound. In particular, the audience will witness unique performances such as the appearance of the mobile police cavalry force or the performance by the Border Guard and their service dogs.
With its large scale, innovative staging ideas, and timely message, "Echoes of the Homeland" is expected to become one of the outstanding cultural and artistic events of 2026, contributing to spreading the image of a united, resilient, and ever-evolving Vietnam in the new era of development.
