The Mo Duc Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) currently has two facilities, with approximately 20 classrooms serving 647 students in grades 10, 11, and 12. The main facility is located in Mo Duc commune, while the second facility is in Long Phung commune, with four classrooms (two built in 1995, and the other two put into use in 2019).

The roof tiles of the center's classrooms were falling apart.

On September 24th, according to observations by reporters at campus 2, the classrooms, built in 1995, were severely damaged. The walls were riddled with cracks, the window hinges were loose, and many porch pillars showed long cracks with exposed rust. Some rooms only had half of their windows remaining, the roof tiles were infested with termites, and long termite mounds stretched along the walls. Inside, the floors and ceilings were also cracked and peeling in many places.
A staff member at campus 2 said that the cement patches on the walls were temporarily patched up by teachers and staff themselves because there was no budget for repairs. "Whenever it rains or is windy, teaching and learning becomes extremely difficult. Students sit in class worrying that the walls and roof might collapse," the staff member shared.
Mr. Nguyen Ke Hau, Director of the Center, said: "Due to the serious deterioration of the classrooms, the center has temporarily suspended classes for 80 10th-grade students in these two rooms and transferred them to the remaining two newly built rooms in 2019. This solution is only temporary, as the current number of classrooms is insufficient to meet the needs of nearly 650 students."

The classrooms were built in 1995 at the second campus of the Mo Duc Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center ( Quang Ngai ). The concrete in the classrooms is cracked, exposing rusted iron bars. The roof support columns are also severely cracked.

The center's main facility also has many dilapidated functional rooms. Mr. Hau said that from 2022 to the present, the center has repeatedly submitted proposals to the People's Committee of Mo Duc District (before the merger) and the Finance and Planning Department to request funding for repairs, but these have yet to be approved.
Regarding this matter, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province, said: "The Department only took over the center a few months ago. We have sent a document to affiliated educational institutions to review and compile a list of facilities. Once we receive a detailed report, the Department will compile it and advise the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee on allocating funds."
