Director Hoang Vinh said the reason why Black and White Boundary is attractive is because the script closely follows current events, approaches recent typical cases, and the audience can sympathize with it.

Meanwhile, Wanted Warrant is built as a TV series that only focuses on cases with wanted criminals, so the way it is presented is more difficult. Multi-dimensional cases cannot be covered in a short time, so the film crew only chooses typical angles according to the characters to exploit.

Bringing in brand new actors to act is also a unique feature that creates freshness for this film genre, although in some places the amateur actors' acting is still a bit awkward.

According to director Hoang Vinh, the appeal of crime short films is not that they focus on criminal elements but: "Each episode must show humanity, the purpose of reforming criminals as well as expressing human love for each other."
