This is the first case titled "A Mother's Tears" in the new series "Decoding Major Crimes," which will be released on YouTube at 7 PM on April 15th. Each episode of this series is 10 minutes long. Every two episodes recreate a new case.

The next installments are Crimes Deep Underground and The Mysterious Disappearance.

Solving a major crime case: a blend of film and reconstruction.

Director Hieu Dan, who directed "Decoding Major Cases," explained: "The cases are based on real stories that have been turned into detective stories."

Viewers were entertained while also learning valuable lessons about human relationships.

With only 20 minutes allocated per case, will "Decoding Major Crimes" have enough time to delve deeply into a complex case? The director stated:

"Production is currently very difficult due to high costs. Investors are also less enthusiastic, so the company invested in producing 'Decoding Major Crimes' before offering it for sale and broadcasting."

He added: "We have to ensure the filming schedule is met in order to minimize costs."

The actors and crew were all understanding, so the pay was only average so they could work together and overcome the crisis. " Decoding a major crime case is a hybrid between crime scene reconstruction and television drama, with illustrative commentary."

Appealing because of its humanistic qualities.

"Decoding Major Cases" is one of the series that explores real-life cases and has been produced and broadcast recently. Although this genre is not as prominent as family dramas, it still has a quiet and enduring appeal.

THVL1 recently finished airing the series "Serious Crimes Unit" a few months ago. HTV7 is currently broadcasting the crime series " The White and Black Boundary" and "Wanted" (40 minutes per episode).

According to the producers of the two films, viewership is stable. The manhunt has just entered its second year.

The drama "The White and Black Line" has been airing for seven years and has a high number of rewatches on YouTube. Some cases have even reached millions of views.

Director Hoang Vinh stated that the reason " The White and Black Boundary" is so appealing is because the script closely follows current events, addresses typical recent cases, and resonates with viewers.

As for "Wanted," it's a television drama focusing solely on cases involving wanted criminals, making the portrayal more challenging. Cases requiring multifaceted exploration cannot be completed in a short time, so the production team only selected characteristic aspects of each character to focus on.

Introducing completely new faces to the acting is also a unique feature that brings freshness to this genre, although in some places the amateur actors' performances are a bit awkward.

According to director Hoang Vinh, the appeal of short crime films doesn't lie in focusing heavily on criminal elements, but rather in: "Each episode must showcase humanistic values, aiming to reform criminals and express compassion for one another."
