On October 1st, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Member of the Political Bureau and Standing Secretary of the Central Committee; Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, along with a delegation, visited, encouraged, and provided support to the people of Quang Tri province in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon No. 10. Here, Standing Secretary Tran Cam Tu presented the support from the Party and State leaders to the Party Committee, government, and people of Quang Tri province to help them recover from the aftermath of Typhoon No. 10.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front provided 500 million VND; the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Corporation donated 5 billion VND; and BIDV and VietinBank each contributed 1 billion VND to help Quang Tri province overcome the consequences of typhoon No. 10.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society launched the "Joining Hands to Overcome Floods" campaign, running from October 1st to October 30th. To ensure convenient and transparent contributions, the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Vietnam Foreign Trade Commercial Bank (Vietcombank), is accepting donations via the VCB Digibank application and the official account of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee, account number H2025. People can scan the QR code or access the VCB Digibank application to donate. By the end of the afternoon on October 1st, the Vietnam Red Cross Society had received over 2.6 billion VND through account H2025.

Hanoi City has decided to provide a total of 55 billion VND to five provinces – Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, and Thanh Hoa – to help them overcome the consequences of the recent storms and floods.

On the afternoon of October 1st, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of Minh Tuan Mobile system, visited Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper (SGGP) to donate 100 million VND, sharing the difficulties with people affected by Typhoon No. 10 (Bualoi) recently.

Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, received a donation of 100 million VND from Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of Minh Tuan Mobile system.

On behalf of the Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Suong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, expressed gratitude to the leadership and all staff of Minh Tuan Mobile for their trust and for sending their support and compassion to flood-affected communities through SGGP Newspaper. Deputy Editor-in-Chief Bui Thi Hong Suong shared that, over the past two years, the newspaper has raised more than 30 billion VND to implement the "Lighting Up Hope - Overcoming Difficulties to Go to School" program, including donating libraries, building and equipping classrooms, and awarding scholarships to students in remote areas across the country.
