On the afternoon of May 28th, the Provincial Union of Civil Servants, in coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Information and Communications, launched an online competition titled "Understanding Knowledge about Digital Transformation and Administrative Reform" among officials, civil servants, and employees, and promoted digital transformation in Ninh Binh province in 2024.
Attending the event were leaders from the Provincial Labor Union, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Department of Information and Communications.
The competition focuses on understanding several aspects stipulated in Party and State documents regarding the meaning and importance of building e-government, digital transformation, moving towards digital government, digital economy , digital society, and administrative reform. Participants include cadres, union members, civil servants, and public employees in grassroots trade unions affiliated with the Provincial Public Employees' Union. The competition is in multiple-choice format and is held weekly, with 10 official questions and 1 supplementary question each week.
The online competition "Learning about Digital Transformation and Administrative Reform" is held at the following addresses: http://chuyendoiso.ninhbinh.gov.vn/ or on the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Union's website: http://congdoanninhbinh.org.vn/. The competition will run for 3 weeks, starting on June 17, 2024 and ending on July 7, 2024.
The competition aims to widely, promptly, and comprehensively disseminate information about the nature, content, importance, benefits, and immense practical values that digital transformation brings to management, administration, socio-economic development, and especially to improving people's material and spiritual lives; while also raising awareness, responsibility, and action of each official, civil servant, and employee in digital transformation and administrative reform at agencies and units; thereby actively responding to and participating in the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union at all levels for the 2023-2028 term, practically responding to the Workers' Month in 2024 and celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Ninh Binh Trade Union.
At the conference, leaders from the Department of Information and Communications, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Provincial Union of Civil Servants, and the Department of Internal Affairs pressed the button to launch the competition.
On this occasion, delegates listened to a presentation by the leaders of the Department of Information and Communications on the topic "Some basic issues on digital transformation and the participation of trade union members in implementing digital transformation".
