"The elected delegates will fulfill the commitments made in their action programs with the highest sense of responsibility – their words will be matched by their actions."
"Each delegate needs to clearly demonstrate their determination to act and fulfill their responsibilities to the voters and the people to the fullest extent."
"Voters want their representatives to not only meet with the public as scheduled, but also to be closely involved with the grassroots, promptly grasping the issues arising in daily life"...
There are many other opinions that voters entrust to their representatives, who will represent their will and aspirations for the next five years. These will be specifically expressed through the ballot on March 15th.
The election of National Assembly deputies for the 16th term and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is therefore not just an ordinary political duty or responsibility. More importantly, it is a vibrant manifestation of democracy. This democracy began with the first general election in 1946 and has continued for the past 80 years. Each voter's ballot in these elections for National Assembly deputies and People's Council representatives at all levels is not just a personal choice, but a reflection of their concerns, research, and careful consideration; it represents their faith and responsibility, likened to a "red brick" contributing to building the future and concretizing the nation's development aspirations.
“The 16th National Assembly – the embodiment of the wisdom, will, and aspirations of the people!”; “Promoting the people's right to self-governance through democratic, open, and transparent elections!” These slogans appeared in government offices, public places, and on the internet. This affirms that our socialist rule of law state is, first and foremost, a state organized and operated on the basis of the Constitution and laws, in which all state power belongs to the people and is for the people. Therefore, the election is not simply about the people choosing who represents their will and aspirations; it is also a broad political activity, a national celebration, for the people to exercise their right to participate in building and controlling state power through their representatives.
When voters are fully aware of their rights, responsibilities, and expectations through their upcoming ballots, it further motivates elected representatives to be truly dedicated to their assigned duties. Voters remember everything the candidates have promised.
