Promoting the role of a bridge to promote and further deepen the special Vietnam-Chile relationship

Report to President and the delegation at the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to Chile Nguyen Viet Cuong thanked the Party and State for always paying attention to the lives of representative agencies abroad, especially in remote areas like Chile, thereby encouraging the spirit of the Embassy's staff to be determined to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party and State.

Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong said that the Vietnamese community living and working in Chile, although not large, always knows how to promote the spirit of solidarity and turn towards the Fatherland. In addition to the representative agency staff, the majority of Vietnamese people do business and live in the southern regions of Chile, and a small part in the capital Santiago and northern Chile.

On the basis of the traditional relationship, nurtured by many generations of leaders and people of the two countries, the core and continuous task of the Vietnamese Embassy in Chile is to maintain good political relations between the two countries. The staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in Chile always believe in the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, as well as the increasingly rising position of the country and the belief in the era of national development, building a developed Vietnam; promise to make efforts to perform well in foreign affairs, promote defense, economic and trade cooperation in the area as well as build a united and cohesive Representative Office, contributing to promoting the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Chile.

President Lương Cường mong muốn Đại sứ quán hỗ trợ kịp thời cho các bà con, đồng bào chúng ta tại nước sở tại cũng như địa bàn kiêm nhiệm; đồng thời hy vọng cộng đồng người Việt tại Chile, mặc dù với số lượng còn khiêm tốn, vẫn luôn đoàn kết, duy trì quan hệ gắn bó, giữ liên lạc thường xuyên và nhiệt tình tham gia các hoạt động hướng về cội nguồn; chấp hành nghiêm chỉnh luật pháp nước sở tại và đoàn kết, luôn hướng về Tổ quốc.
