At Le Thanh Tong Specialized High School (located in Hoi An City), the school's Youth Union actively advises the Party branch on the work of developing new Party members, especially developing Party membership among students.

In 2024, the school's Youth Union nominated 28 outstanding members to participate in a Party awareness training course, through which the Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union and two students were admitted to the Party.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Youth Union of Le Thanh Tong Specialized High School has nominated 12 outstanding members to participate in the Party awareness training course.

Mr. Phan Le Minh Bao, Secretary of the Youth Union of Le Thanh Tong Specialized High School, said: “The school's Youth Union has actively advised the school's Party branch on the work of developing Party members, especially student Party members, and has always met and exceeded the targets set by the Party branch. Currently, the Youth Union has recommended 4 students for consideration for Party membership this year.”

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu, Secretary of the Hoi An City Youth Union, in 2024, the Youth Union branches in Hoi An introduced 198 outstanding members to local Party committees and units for training; of which 88 members were admitted to the Party.

The work of educating and fostering revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles among Youth Union members and young people is also emphasized to create a source for Party membership, along with promoting the pioneering, exemplary, and proactive role of young Party members.

Recently, the Hoi An City Youth Union organized a forum titled "The Party with Youth - Youth with the Party" to launch a widespread political campaign among young people throughout the city, to awaken pride in the glorious traditions and history of the Communist Party of Vietnam , and to promote the sense of responsibility of Hoi An's youth towards the Party and the Fatherland.

At this forum, the Hoi An City Youth Union presented a list of 169 outstanding union members to the Party Committee for consideration of admission; and commended 10 exemplary young Party members of the city for their efforts in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings in 2025.

"Through this commendation, we hope to spread the positive values ​​of Hoi An youth in the new era, creating motivation to encourage young people to actively participate in revolutionary action movements of the Youth Union and associations, patriotic emulation, actively training, and replicating the examples of young Party members who live with ideals, aspirations and noble ambitions, who dare to take action and contribute to the Fatherland and the community," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vu.

According to Mr. Le Choi, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hoi An City Party Committee, in 2024, the Hoi An Party Committee admitted 116 new party members, achieving 105.45% of the set target; many of these new members are youth union members, students, and young people. Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, Hoi An has admitted 27 new student party members and 3 new university student party members.

“To effectively carry out the annual Party development program, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has directed localities and grassroots Party organizations to pay attention to and nurture young Party members, creating conditions for them to strive for maturity and soon join the ranks of the Party. If young Party members strive well and grassroots Party organizations pay attention, they will soon be able to join the ranks of the Party,” Mr. Le Choi shared.
