The policy of developing the hill and forest economy has been identified and implemented by Yen Lap district in previous terms, achieving many important results, with economic value increasing year after year, creating jobs for local laborers, and promoting sustainable poverty reduction. In this term, the district continues to consider this a key task, concretized by Resolution 42-NQ/HU, dated April 12, 2021, of the District Party Committee on the development of the hill and forest economy, focusing on large timber trees, medicinal plants, and fruit trees for the period 2021-2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Resolution).

Based on the objectives and tasks of the Resolution, the District People's Committee has developed and issued plans for organization and implementation; issued numerous directives, guidelines, and instructions to encourage production in specialized fields; strengthened inspections, promptly supplemented tasks, and adjusted solutions to effectively achieve the Resolution's objectives...

To ensure the Resolution is implemented effectively and promptly, the District People's Committee requests that specialized agencies and commune-level authorities proactively adhere to the district's orientations and plans to concretize them into plans, targets, and objectives for their respective units; and strengthen inspection, supervision, and evaluation of the results of implementing the objectives set forth in the Resolution.

Following the district's policy, the People's Committees of communes and towns have developed and issued plans for the development of hill and forest economies in accordance with the local situation, identifying key objectives to guide, publicize, and mobilize the people to implement effectively.

We strive to reach 25 hectares of Codonopsis pilosula (Ba Kich) planted under the forest canopy by 2025 and maintain the production of some other medicinal plants."
