Developing a reading culture contributes to building a safe, healthy, and friendly living environment for children in remote areas (illustrative image).
According to the signed agreement, the two units agreed to coordinate the organization of six activities, including: Displaying media products with content on social work services and child protection; Regularly screening trailers/clips on social work and child protection; Organizing thematic talks on social work services and child protection; Receiving information, providing counseling support, connecting and referring cases in need; Displaying and introducing books on children and child protection; Organizing activities to develop reading culture and disseminate information in the three communes of Hoa Lien, Hoa Phu, and Hoa Son (Hoa Vang district).
The activities will be implemented from now until December 31, 2023, at the Da Nang General Science Library and the three aforementioned communes. Through these activities, the aim is to develop a reading culture and raise awareness among students and parents about social work services and child protection. Simultaneously, it aims to detect early and provide timely preventive, intervention, and support services for children who have been abused or are at risk of abuse or bullying (including online bullying), contributing to building a safe, healthy, and friendly living environment for them.
