President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to and valued the exemplary conduct of cadres and Party members. He always reminded them, "A living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches."
According to Uncle Ho, setting an example is not just about chanting slogans or saying it verbally. To effectively implement the principles of setting an example, cadres and Party members must constantly improve their revolutionary ethics, practice "matching words with actions"; use examples of good people and good deeds to educate each other daily; and the masses only respect those with good character and morality.
To guide the people, one must set an example for them to follow. Uncle Ho's simple and pure life was a model of morality, possessing a powerful and inspiring influence on the entire Vietnamese people.
His thoughts, ethics, style, and noble career have left our Party, our nation, and our people with invaluable and enduring values.
President Ho Chi Minh was born on May 19, 1890, 135 years ago.
