Phong came to the rescue of the whole group.
Linh (Bảo Hân) failed to complete her task in the teamwork session. This caused great concern among the group because, according to the schedule, boss Yến (Hoàng Thùy Linh) was supposed to have a meeting to check on the work.
To save the entire group from failure, Phong (Nhan Phuc Vinh) took on the task of completing the group's plan and assigned the remaining members the job of stalling for time so that Phong could finish the task.
Linh failed to complete her task, so Phong had to step in to save the whole group.
Huyen is at risk of having to compensate Dong for damages.
In another development, Dong (Trong Lan) and Huyen (Quynh Luong) have another argument because Huyen comes to Dong's business to look for her younger brother, Phuc (Long Vu).
Dong declared: "If you want to find someone, go to the local police station. This is my place of business. Even if your younger brother is here, he hasn't broken any laws. If you cause trouble here, and the elders don't come tomorrow, you'll have to pay me 5 million dong."
Huyen and Dong argue because of Phuc.
However, Huyen believed that Dong and Phuc were inseparable, so whenever Phuc went missing, she would definitely go to Dong's place. Huyen also thought that Phuc failed his university entrance exam because he followed Dong, and she insisted on going to find her younger brother.
Seeing Huyen's resolute attitude, Dong declared that if Huyen couldn't find her brother, she would have to compensate Dong 1 million VND for the damages.
Also in episode 9 of "Don't Be Afraid to Get Married, Just One Reason," Mr. Trong (Thanh Binh) once again seeks out a fortune teller and is reprimanded for not heeding the fortune teller's advice. To appease the fortune teller's anger, Mr. Trong spends a large sum of money hoping the fortune teller can show his family how to ward off bad luck and avert misfortune.
Mr. Trong continued to seek out fortune tellers in the hope that they could avert his misfortune.
What advice will the fortune teller give Mr. Trong? Will Phong help the group complete their work before the meeting? Will Huyen find her younger brother at Dong's place, or will she have to spend another million VND? The answers will be revealed in "Don't Be Afraid to Get Married, Just One Reason" episode 9, airing on VTV3 on the evening of October 19th.
