
According to the Northern Mountainous Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station, last night and this morning (July 23), there was moderate rain in various parts of the province, with some areas experiencing heavy rain and thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts from 7 PM on July 22 to 7 AM on July 23 were generally 16-60mm, with some areas receiving higher amounts such as: Ha Hoa 81mm, Nang Yen 73mm, Van Lang 72mm, Hanh Cu 66mm, and Dong Linh 65mm.
From July 23-24, moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in various parts of the province, with some areas experiencing very heavy rainfall. Total rainfall is expected to be around 130mm, with some areas exceeding 200mm. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. From July 25 onwards, heavy rainfall across the province is expected to gradually decrease.
Heavy Rain Risk Level Warning: Level 1. Heavy rain poses a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Be prepared for heavy rainfall in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. Be wary of lightning strikes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms, which can endanger human lives and cause property damage.
