At the longevity celebration, delegates reviewed the traditional significance of celebrating longevity, announced the decision, and presented certificates and gifts to 235 elderly people who had reached the ages of 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, and 95.

Speaking at the program, the Party Secretary of the ward affirmed: Elderly people are "tall trees casting long shadows," having made many contributions to labor, production, construction, and the protection of their homeland; they are exemplary role models in their families, clans, and residential areas.
The comrade emphasized that caring for the elderly is not only a responsibility but also a measure of cultural development. He urged all levels, sectors, neighborhoods, and families to continue paying attention to and better caring for the material and spiritual lives of the elderly so that they can live happily, healthily, and usefully, continuing to play the role of "elderly people - shining examples" in contributing to building a more developed and civilized Ky Lua ward.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the ward organized a longevity celebration program at two locations: the meeting hall of the Ward Party Committee and the former Gia Cat Cultural House, with a total of 495 elderly people being celebrated on this occasion.
