PTSC spreads kindness and compassion.

As a member unit of the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group (Petrovietnam), the Vietnam Petroleum Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) not only pioneers in the field of high-quality technical services, but also contributes to spreading Petrovietnam's distinctive "compassionate" culture through its social welfare initiatives, from remote areas to the largest cities nationwide.

For many years, PTSC has consistently pursued a guiding principle: developing its business operations while upholding social responsibility. As a key member of Petrovietnam, PTSC has been contributing to the realization of the philosophy of "compassion and solidarity"—a core value that defines the cultural identity of workers in the national energy industry.

PTSC's philosophy of "leaving no one behind" is evident in hundreds of community projects – where the spirit of sharing and social responsibility is concretized through projects that provide long-term value, contributing to improving the quality of life for people, especially in disadvantaged areas. These social welfare projects are implemented with a focus on key areas; data from 2020 to the present shows that the majority of PTSC's funding is allocated to education , healthcare, and housing – the three pillars that form the foundation for a long-term quality of life. Maintaining a consistent allocation to these areas year after year reflects the company's consistent orientation and strategy for community development.

From 2020 to the present, the majority of PTSC's social welfare funding has been allocated to support education, healthcare , and housing – the three pillars that form the foundation for long-term quality of life.

In many localities across the country, community welfare projects bearing the mark of PTSC continue to serve the people every day. From the Truc Noi Cultural Center and Khanh Loi Kindergarten (Ninh Binh); solidarity houses in Phu Tho, Hai Phong, and Ca Mau; health stations in Thanh Hoa and Dong Nai; to Ly Tu Trong Primary School (Quang Tri); and kindergartens and health stations in the South... each project is a concrete commitment to helping localities improve living conditions for their people. Whether present in the mountainous North, the midland and coastal regions, or the industrial cities of the South, these projects are fundamental, serving the long term, contributing to spreading the spirit of sharing and the culture of "compassion" that PTSC inherited from Petrovietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City - The heart of community responsibility

As the location of its headquarters, Ho Chi Minh City is not only the center for production and business operations but also where PTSC deeply demonstrates its social responsibility. This is most evident in the field of public health. With a motto of responsible and professional action, PTSC has chosen to partner with the University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City – one of the city's leading medical facilities – to direct its resources to the right place where they can be transformed into professional medical services.

Preliminary statistics from 2020 show that PTSC has consistently sponsored charitable activities at the hospital. In 2021, the company continued to donate 500 million VND to children undergoing liver transplants. Notably, in 2023, PTSC provided 1 billion VND to support the hospital in organizing health check-ups and medical consultations in many provinces and cities, spreading the expertise of Ho Chi Minh City to a wider community. During the time when Ho Chi Minh City was struggling to combat the pandemic, PTSC was also one of the pioneering units supporting medical equipment – from ventilators and ambulances to funding for the Vaccine Fund and frontline activities – with a total value exceeding 38.8 billion VND in 2021 alone.

PTSC has chosen to partner with the University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City - one of the city's leading medical facilities - to channel its corporate resources to the right place where they can be transformed into professional medical services.

Persistence in its approach – investing in institutions and collaborating with highly specialized healthcare units – has helped PTSC create a sustainable ripple effect in community healthcare, especially in Ho Chi Minh City, which constantly faces the pressure of a large population and high healthcare needs.

Furthermore, PTSC's social welfare imprint is clearly evident through numerous projects connected to the lives of local people. From Le Van Tam Primary School (Go Vap District), Hoa Mi Kindergarten (Can Gio District), and the Solidarity Houses in Nha Be District and Chanh Nghia Ward, each project represents a concrete effort to improve learning conditions, healthcare, and housing for local residents. With this enduring presence, PTSC not only fulfills its responsibilities to the areas where it operates but also spreads the spirit of "compassion" of its energy industry workers to the entire Southern industrial urban region – where the company is closely involved in both production and community.

Towards sustainable community development

In the field of education, Ho Chi Minh City is one of the key areas where PTSC maintains its annual scholarship program. PTSC's "Trust" scholarship fund not only provides financial support to underprivileged students but also connects them with the city's technical training system, creating internship opportunities and clear career orientations for young people.

Ho Chi Minh City is one of the key locations where PTSC maintains its annual scholarship program.

Every year, scholarships are awarded at major universities in Ho Chi Minh City such as the University of Technology, the University of Transport, the University of Science, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. At Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, for the 2024-2025 academic year, the "Trust" scholarship continues to be awarded to outstanding students in engineering and industry, encouraging them to cultivate skills that meet the human resource needs in the energy and technical services sectors.

Notably, in addition to short-term scholarships, PTSC also offers long-term financial support programs for engineering students through cooperation agreements with universities, ensuring continuous learning and training. The total value of scholarships in recent years has reached 3.5 billion VND, demonstrating the seriousness and systematic nature of the company's commitment to higher education.

The total value of PTSC's social welfare projects in 2025 is estimated at VND 27.2 billion, compared to over VND 34 billion in 2024, VND 20.1 billion in 2023, VND 20.2 billion in 2022, and reaching VND 38.86 billion during the peak of the pandemic in 2021. More importantly, the allocation of these resources is crucial: prioritizing long-term projects linked to healthcare, education, and housing, spread across the country, with particular emphasis on Ho Chi Minh City.

Set against the backdrop of a unique urban environment, where businesses thrive while also facing increasing social challenges, PTSC's role is not only that of an investor but also a partner to the community. New classrooms, free medical check-ups, sturdy houses, scholarships to nurture dreams... all serve as evidence of a business model that prioritizes people, using internal resources to create shared value.
