Quang Nam reviews preparations for a conference on Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs.

(QNO) - On the morning of April 29, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu chaired a meeting to review the preparations for organizing the conference to implement the Decision approving the Project "Development and formation of a medicinal plant industry center in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the main crop".

On February 28, 2025, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 463/QD-TTg approving the Project "Development and establishment of a medicinal plant industry center in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the key crop".

According to the report at the meeting, preparations for the conference and related key contents have been completed. The conference is expected to have more than 200 delegates from within and outside the province, including representatives from the Government leadership. Units have coordinated with Quang Nam Radio and Television Station to produce a special video on Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs; and are preparing to livestream the conference on digital platforms.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu requested relevant units to continue coordinating and completing the remaining tasks urgently; and to promote social mobilization to ensure the resources for organizing the conference according to plan and in line with the scale of a national-level event.
