Quang Tri Province has a new Provincial Police Chief.

(NLDO) - Colonel Vu Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department for Social Order, has been transferred and appointed as Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police.

On the afternoon of January 6th, at the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security regarding personnel matters. Major General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presided over the ceremony.

Major General Dang Hong Duc presented the appointment decision and congratulated the new Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, Vu Van Dau.

At the ceremony, acting on behalf of the Minister of Public Security, the head of the Personnel Department announced the decision to transfer Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of the Dong Nai Provincial Police.

Colonel Vu Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Criminal Investigation Department for Social Order, has been transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police.

On behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Major General Dang Hong Duc presented the appointment decisions for the Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police and offered flowers to congratulate the two officers who were transferred and appointed on this occasion.

The leaders of Quang Tri province presented flowers to congratulate Colonel Vu Van Dau, the new Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police.

Colonel Vu Van Dau was born in 1976 in Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province.

Major General Dang Hong Duc affirmed that this is a testament to the trust and recognition from the Ministry of Public Security's leadership for the dedication and contributions of Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai and Colonel Vu Van Dau in the cause of protecting security and order. He also expressed his hope that the two officers will continue to uphold their leadership responsibilities in all aspects of their work.

In his acceptance speech, Colonel Vu Van Dau, Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, expressed his determination in fulfilling his new duties and hoped to receive the attention, assistance, and support of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the local Party committee and government, and the leadership of the Provincial Police to successfully complete the assigned tasks together with the entire Quang Tri Police force.
