The singer of "It's Been So Long Since I Cried" is facing controversy because her concert outfit is said to resemble that of South Korean singer Kim Mingyu (from the group Seventeen).

Recently, several images and clips of Quoc Thien at the Y-CONCERT held on the evening of December 20th went viral on social media. On stage, the male singer appeared in a shiny silver leather outfit, with a blazer loosely buttoned, showcasing his toned physique. He completed the outfit with sunglasses and a chain necklace studded with rhinestones. The singer of " It's Been a Long Time Since I Cried" also shared images of this performance on his personal page, which has nearly 400,000 followers.

However, many people compared Quoc Thien's performance outfit to that of K-pop idol Kim Mingyu. Specifically, in his previous performance of "Shake It Off ," the Korean singer also wore a similar outfit. This immediately sparked controversy on social media. Netizens argued that Quoc Thien copied Mingyu's style, as the two shared many similarities from clothing to fashion accessories.

Some accounts even compared the breakdance in Quoc Thien's performance to the breakdance in Mingyu's "Shake It Off ."

Currently, singer Quoc Thien's side has not commented on the controversies.

Quoc Thien, born in 1988, rose to fame after winning Vietnam Idol 2008. He has released several albums such as "Because We Love Too Much," "Sing with Me," and "Quoc Thien Collection." In 2020, the artist released the music video "Everything Depends on Fate ," which garnered nearly 12 million views on YouTube.

Quoc Thien's name became popular again after participating in the show "Brother Overcoming a Thousand Obstacles." After the show, the singer was praised for his beautiful and emotional vocal range, his investment in choreography, and the stage production. Following the program, he actively performed at shows and participated in concerts.
