Regarding the Hanoi University of Business and Technology illegally training a second English language diploma class, the Ministry of Education and Training affirmed that the principal of this school has related responsibilities.

On December 16, the Ministry of Education and Training sent a document to Hanoi University of Business and Technology (HUBT) regarding the rectification of enrollment and training for the 2nd Degree in English Language.

Accordingly, based on the inspection conclusion (No. 2201 dated June 28 of Hanoi University of Business and Technology) on training for the second degree in English Language classes VB2.12, VB2.13, VB22.01 and the working results of the working group verifying information on enrollment and training for people with a university degree in English Language related to this school, the Ministry of Education and Training has the following comments:

Responsibility related to training of 2nd degree in English Language classes VB2.12, VB2.13 (A,B), VB22.01 of Hanoi University of Business and Technology is first of all the responsibility of the President of Hanoi University of Business and Technology.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires Hanoi University of Technology to urgently carry out tasks such as: developing and promptly organizing the implementation of a plan to ensure the legitimate rights of learners in accordance with regulations. The school's implementation results must be reported to the Ministry of Education and Training before December 28.

Send the school's legal representative to attend the meeting with the Ministry of Education and Training to review and make a record of administrative violations against violations in the recruitment and training organization of the 2nd degree in English Language for classes VB2.12, VB2.13 (A, B), VB22.01 on the morning of December 26 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Previously, in the past 2 years, many students studied the second degree English class at Hanoi University of Business and Technology with very high tuition fees, totaling up to 47.5 million VND. With 2 second degree classes at the school's Nguyen Duc Canh campus, the total amount collected according to the student list is nearly 4 billion VND.

Hanoi University of Business and Technology enrolls students, Vice Principal Vu Van Hoa signs the Decision to recognize the entrance results of the VB2 bachelor class, the Training Management Department and the English B Department are assigned to manage and train. However, after completing the second English degree course, the students were suddenly informed by the school that this class no longer exists.

Regarding this, the school representative spoke up, stating that the organization of the VB2 classes was organized by Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Ha, Deputy Head of the English B Department of the school, and did not represent the school. Students who want to get their tuition back should contact the individuals involved, the school is not responsible.

However, it is worth mentioning that the admission decision has the school's red seal and is signed by Vice Principal Vu Van Hoa. The training process involved a number of teachers in the school.
