From the evening of December 7th, numerous fan pages posted information such as "Quyền Linh arrested urgently for selling substandard goods," "MC Quyền Linh officially arrested," etc. The person being handcuffed by the police in the video was commented on by viewers as "looking like Quyền Linh." However, upon examining the facial movements, this is actually an AI video.
Below the post, some viewers recognized it as an AI video, but others mistakenly thought the person in the video was Meritorious Artist Quyen Linh. After being informed by his family, the artist spoke out to clarify, affirming that this information was false.

The male artist stated that he had just returned from a business trip to Hanoi and was working with the Film Association, and that there was absolutely no truth to the claim that he had been arrested.
"Many friends sent me this information. When I livestreamed, many relatives and viewers commented, 'Thank goodness it's not true.' Recently, many artists have had their information and images faked by AI. I hope viewers will be vigilant and selective, avoiding being misled by false information," Quyen Linh warned.
A few days ago, Nhat Kim Anh issued a clarification after a series of posts such as "Nhat Kim Anh has fled," and "Nhat Kim Anh has been prosecuted." Many female artists such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Ngo Thanh Van, My Tam... have repeatedly warned about the exploitation of their images and voices using AI to spread fake news and advertise unreliable products. The artists are calling on authorities to intervene in these illegal activities.
In August, Dai Nghia and Quoc Truong simultaneously warned and appealed for help regarding the situation where fraudsters were using AI to superimpose their voices and lip movements onto videos soliciting fraudulent investments and advertising illegal projects.
Mac Van Khoa and Khac Viet also faced similar situations where their voices were manipulated to solicit gambling or for disguised advertising. The artists affirmed that this was fake content, causing serious harm, and urged viewers to be vigilant.
