
The village of Krái (Chư Păh commune, Gia Lai province) currently has 188 households with 1,010 residents, of which the Jrai ethnic group accounts for 80%. Over time, the traditional cultural values of the ethnic group have been preserved and promoted by the villagers.
At the ceremony, representatives from the Chư Păh commune announced the decision to establish the club. Accordingly, the Krái Village Gong Club has 45 members, with Mr. Rơ Châm Vang as the Gong Team Leader. After its establishment, the club will maintain regular activities and training sessions to teach gong playing and traditional dance to the younger generation in the village.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province, said: The Krai Village Gong Club is the sixth club established by a state agency in the province. This activity is part of the National Target Program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the Central Highlands Gong Culture Space heritage in the province.
On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province presented the Krai Village Gong Club with a Jrai gong set, a T'rưng instrument, a portable sound system, and financial support for training.
