Ronaldo is expanding his business empire in England. |
According to The Sun , Ronaldo's CR7 hotel and entertainment brand is in the process of registering trademarks in the UK, paving the way for the opening of new properties after the superstar retires.
Since 2016, the former Manchester United striker has partnered with the Pestana hotel group (Portugal) to develop a chain of hotels and bars under the "Pestana CR7" brand. This system currently operates in many major cities in Portugal and has attracted attention from fans and investors alike.
Registering the trademark in the UK is seen as a strategic move to expand into one of Europe's largest football and tourism hubs.
In the past, Ronaldo was known for making smart business decisions. “Cristiano understands the value of his brand. He has the financial resources and image to make a big difference in England,” a source close to CR7 said.

In fact, many former football stars have found success when venturing into the hotel and food service industry, demonstrating the immense potential of this market.
Manchester is considered the ideal destination if Ronaldo chooses England to build a new life. Here, the Portuguese superstar still enjoys the affection of fans after two stints with the "Red Devils".
Notably, former teammate Gary Neville now runs Hotel Football right next to Old Trafford, a testament to the commercial appeal associated with the MU brand.
At 41 years old, Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League and has yet to announce his retirement. However, recent developments suggest that the Portuguese superstar has begun meticulously preparing for the post-play phase of his career.
