On the evening of February 1, Lang Son City opened the 2024 Lang Peach Blossom Festival, attracting thousands of people to enjoy unique art performances with the theme "Sparkling peach blossoms - Shining, reaching far".
Permanent Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Duong Xuan Huyen announced the opening of the Lang Son Peach Blossom Festival 2024.
The performances in the program were well-staged and elaborately arranged with 3 main parts: “Legend of a flower” about spring and the meaning of peach blossoms in Lang Son; “Fragrance and color of Lang Son” expressing the beauty of the land and people of Lang Son; “Lang Son my homeland, Vietnam my country” Lang Son in the period of innovation, development and integration… The performance gathered hundreds of artists and actors inside and outside Lang Son province.
Along with that is a brilliant fireworks display, attracting viewers.
On this occasion, the organizing committee of the 2024 Lang Son peach garden and peach blossom tree contest awarded prizes to the owners of 14 beautiful peach gardens and 21 beautiful peach blossom trees; The organizing committee of the 2024 Lang Son peach blossom painting contest awarded 34 prizes to the entries.
The double peach blossom tree was awarded third prize at the festival.
The pair of Lo Binh peach trees - each tree is grafted from 18 peach trees and is highly appreciated by visitors at the festival.
Many peach trees are uniquely shaped to attract customers.
In addition to the beautiful trees, ancient peach trees and moldy peach trees are also highlights of this festival.
On the opening day of this year's festival, the warm weather and spring rain caused many peach blossoms to bloom, adding color to the festival.
Besides the peach blossom display area, the Lang flower road also attracts many tourists.
