VHO - "SUP Festival - Da Nang Colorful Festival" is one of the outstanding activities in the series of programs Enjoy Da Nang Festival 2025, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate in the experience, spread a positive lifestyle, and connect the community.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from June 19th to 23rd, Man Thai beach (Son Tra district, Da Nang city) will be the focal point of a series of attractive water sports activities with the event "SUP Festival - Da Nang Colorful Festival".

This is one of the highlights of the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2025, attracting a large number of locals and tourists to participate and experience the vibrant summer atmosphere by the sea.

The event kicked off with an exhibition of 300 stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) on the afternoon of June 19th. From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the entire beach area was transformed with colorful SUPs creatively arranged, creating a unique visual art space.

More than just a warm-up activity, this is also an ideal check-in spot, attracting young people and tourists to capture beautiful moments on the beaches of Da Nang.

This is one of the highlights of the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2025, embodying a strong sense of community and a vibrant summer atmosphere.

The vibrant atmosphere continued on the morning of June 20th as the 1,000m mixed doubles SUP race officially kicked off with 20 teams, totaling 40 athletes. Each team consisted of one male and one female paddling a SUP, starting simultaneously and competing head-to-head.

The race unfolded amidst the cheers of the spectators, delivering thrilling and exciting moments against the backdrop of the blue waves.

On the morning of June 21st, the freestyle tandem SUP race, covering a longer distance of 2,500m, continued to challenge 60 athletes on 30 SUPs. Requiring endurance, excellent coordination, and solid paddling technique, the race delivered thrilling chases, attracting the attention of a large audience.

This sporting event combines experiential and competitive activities, contributing to the vibrant summer atmosphere of the coastal city.

The event also conveyed a message about a healthy lifestyle, closeness to the sea, and environmental protection.

In particular, on June 22nd and 23rd, from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM each morning, a community-based SUP paddling experience took place with 1,000 SUPs and approximately 2,000 participants.

In the fresh morning air, locals and tourists alike have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the gentle feeling of surfing on the waves of the sea.

This is considered a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading a healthy lifestyle that is close to the marine environment and encouraging the community to participate in outdoor sports activities.
