"The brother who overcame thousands of obstacles" ST Son Thach was suddenly "thrown" into unprecedented challenges when he became a "practitioner father" of 5 children: having to go to the market, cook, tie hair, coax, play with and even make beds for Dua, Bean, Audi, Cati and Noah.
The episode aired on the evening of June 9 on VTV3 , Dad, where are we going? 2025 opens with the image of ST Son Thach eagerly taking a boat from the mainland to the island to meet his children: "Hopefully it will be a place filled with love, not a nursery with many problems."
For the first time, the audience witnessed ST Son Thach as a "practitioner father" of 5 children.

As soon as he set foot on the island, ST Son Thach was "enforced" by Uncle Leng Keng of the program: his phone and wallet were confiscated, and all connections with the outside world were cut off to focus on getting to know, taking care of, and playing with the children.
Joining Dad, Where Are We Going 2025 , not having children and having no experience taking care of children, having to take care of 5 children at the same time, ST Son Thach could not help but feel confused.
"Father" ST Son Thach is calm and sophisticated
"I thought there would be detailed instructions and guidance, but unexpectedly there was no such moment," ST Son Thach shared.
Even more surprising, his "introduction" to the young hosts was a complete failure: the children were reserved, and little Bean - actor Duy Hung's son - avoided and shook his head at all questions because he was a "stranger".
Although feeling a little sad, ST Son Thach did not give up - he quickly changed his strategy: using cake as "bait" to get to know the children and patiently sat next to Bean to chat. A seemingly trivial question helped open up a connection: "Do you want to go to school or go out today?", "I want to play" - Bean answered concisely.
ST Son Thach's father had to use cake to get acquainted with his children.
Despite being "dizzy", ST Son Thach still overcame the challenge and took good care of all 5 children.

At lunchtime, the challenge was raised to a higher level: cooking a meal for 10 people. Having never cooked before, ST Son Thach now had to go to the market to “buy on credit” ingredients, instruct Dua, Bean, Audi, Cati and Noah to pick tomatoes, collect eggs, and then handle the incident when Noah broke an egg...
ST Son Thach admitted: "Normally, I don't know how to cook. Now, I have to cook and look after 5 children at the same time, I really don't know what to do." However, with his efforts and positive spirit, he and the children still completed the meal - not perfect but full of laughter and love. It is the way ST Son Thach shows responsibility and concern for each child in each situation that makes the audience admire him for the calmness and sophistication of a "practitioner father".
