As a person with a passion for traditional weaving, the number of costumes made by Xo Dang artisan - Tran Thi Kim Hoa (Tu Chan village, Tra Cang commune) up to now is countless. According to her, although the materials are different from the past, the colors and patterns remain unchanged, these are the factors to identify the costumes of each ethnic group.

“The color of the Xo Dang costumes is unique compared to other ethnic costumes in the district. The main colors are usually indigo, green, red, yellow... although they look colorful, they are easy to wear at different events. The elaborate patterns make the costumes more luxurious,” said Ms. Hoa.

Unlike the Xo Dang people, the main color of the Ca Dong people's costumes is usually black, with common red and white motifs, placed on the skirt, sleeves and hem of the shirt, to create highlights and distinguish them from other ethnic groups.
