This is a new method, in addition to methods such as scanning the National Identity Card (NFC) chip or going directly to the bank. This is one of the new features of Sacombank Pay version 2.4.4.

The biometric update method via VNeID is for customers who have completed level 2 identification on VNeID and have updated to the latest version of Sacombank Pay.

With simple steps, customers can complete the biometric update directly on the app without needing an NFC-enabled phone.

This not only enhances the security of electronic transactions but also optimizes the user experience.

The steps include: Select the "Biometrics" feature on Sacombank Pay – Select "Edit" and choose the method to update personal information using "Electronic Identity Account (VNeID)" - Take a picture of the front of the card, scan the QR code on the ID card/citizen identification card and perform facial recognition – Check the information, verify and log in to the VNeID application to share data.

Foreigners can also use Sacombank Pay.

In addition, the new version of Sacombank Pay expands the convenience of money transfer by linking with Zalo . Now, when receiving account information (including account number and beneficiary bank) or a VietQR code in a Zalo message, customers simply need to click "Transfer money" and select Sacombank from the list of banking applications.

Transactions will be immediately routed through Sacombank Pay with account information automatically pre-filled, saving customers time, minimizing data entry, and avoiding unnecessary errors. Customers who have Zalo open can also scan the VietQR code at participating stores to complete the payment.

In particular, from now on all customers, including foreigners, can use Sacombank Pay by registering for the service at the counter to enjoy digital banking benefits and meet their personal and business financial needs.
