SAMCO officially becomes a distributor of Vinfast vehicles.

Saigon Transport Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO) has officially become the distributor of Vinfast electric vehicles, a Vietnamese brand. SAMCO Binh Tan dealership is a showroom, distributor, and service center for Vinfast electric vehicles.

The opening ceremony of the Vinfast - SAMCO Binh Tan dealership, held on the morning of October 19, 2024, marks a milestone in the 20-year development journey of the Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO). A representative from Samco stated that the opening of this dealership was completed very quickly, in less than two months, aiming to provide customers in Ho Chi Minh City with access to the best services and to capitalize on the prevailing trend in many countries around the world of applying electric vehicles in the green transformation of life in Vietnam.

The Vinfast - SAMCO Binh Tan dealership, located at 1135 National Highway 1, Tan Tao Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City, has a showroom area of 805m2 and a service workshop of 1,960m2, equipped with modern facilities and a professionally trained workforce. It is planned to have 10-12 charging stations for customers' electric vehicles.

At the product display area, customers will have the opportunity to experience and learn about the advanced technology and smart features of the first electric vehicles manufactured in Vietnam and other Vinfast branded cars.

A Vinfast representative stated that the collaboration with Samco to open a dealership in Binh Tan District is not only a significant milestone for both companies but also a meaningful event for the electric vehicle community in Ho Chi Minh City. This partnership is not simply about expanding dealerships but also a crucial step in Vinfast's strategy to bring smart, safe, and environmentally friendly electric vehicles closer to the people of Ho Chi Minh City. Each electric vehicle on the streets will be a green symbol, contributing to building a green and sustainable future for Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.

Vinfast - Samco Binh Tan dealership, equipped with modern facilities, aims to serve over 12,000 customers annually for repairs, maintenance, bodywork, painting, etc. According to the plan, in the first year, sales will be 264 vehicles, and service volume will reach 12,367 vehicles. Sales volume is projected to increase by 10% and service volume by 5% each year.
