According to a VinFast representative, the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S are premium models in VinFast's lineup, alongside the "head of state" 900 LX model (including the world's leading bulletproof version) which will be launched in 2025.
The Lac Hong 800S offers a powerful, luxurious, and elegant style. What they have in common is that both models possess a consistent design language characteristic of their respective brands, with many iconic details, combined with premium materials and modern equipment.
The grille is made from straight slats inspired by the image of Vietnamese bamboo; the logo, shaped like a soaring bird, symbolizes the Lac bird; patterns from the Bronze Drum; images of terraced rice fields… are cleverly integrated and intentionally repeated in every detail of the interior and exterior design to honor cultural essence and national pride.
In particular, the "Lac Hong" brand is crafted in a calligraphic style, with flowing lines on real gold-plated alloy, creating an extremely sophisticated and luxurious highlight.
The interior spaces of the Lac Hong 800S and 900S are also meticulously crafted using top-of-the-line materials such as Nappa leather, precious wood, and many distinctive gold-plated details.
In terms of functionality, according to VinFast, both vehicles are equipped with a range of smart technologies and modern safety features, along with amenities only found in luxury cars such as zero-gravity seats; automatic doors; entertainment systems from leading global brands, etc.
“The Lac Hong 900S, in addition to the private glass partition between the driver's and passenger compartments, also features a starlight headliner, a large projector for entertainment, and a foldable work table for passengers in the second row,” shared Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy General Director of VinFast Global Automotive Sales. All of this aims to provide users not just a vehicle for transportation, but also a top-tier product for technology, entertainment, and work, allowing them to experience and enjoy every journey.
The car is equipped with a range of smart technologies and modern safety features, along with amenities typically found only in luxury vehicles.
In terms of operation, the Lac Hong 800S and 900S are equipped with a completely new full active suspension system, providing maximum smoothness and comfort. The vehicle can utilize 3 motors (1 at the front, 2 at the rear) with a total power output of up to 460kW for superior performance.
According to the plan, the Lac Hong 800S and 900S will officially be available on the market in 2027.
