The Galaxy S26 is currently being offered by retailers at 20.5 million VND for the 256GB version, 5.5 million VND lower than the listed price. The 512GB version has also seen a price reduction of 6 million VND, down to 26 million VND.

Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, several retailers said that the standard Galaxy S26 product line has seen stable sales. However, the device has not yet achieved many breakthroughs compared to its predecessor.
"After about four months on the market, the Galaxy S26 series has received a positive response. The Ultra version has the best sales. Sales of the standard and Plus versions are almost identical to the S25 generation," a representative from Di Dong My stated.
According to retailers, the high-end smartphone market is currently seeing a trend of users extending their device usage time. Therefore, when deciding to upgrade, customers often prioritize choosing the highest-end models for long-term use.
This contributed to boosting sales for the S26 Ultra version. Vietnamese consumers' shopping habits remain similar to previous years, with the Galaxy S26 Ultra outperforming other versions in sales.
"The Galaxy S26 Ultra remains the flagship model thanks to its superior camera capabilities and high-end specifications. The device accounts for approximately 70% of sales across the entire product line. Users still prioritize choosing the more affordable version to balance their needs and the cost of ownership," shared Mr. Phan Tran Thanh, Deputy Director of the Mobile Phone Division atFPT Shop.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra version stands out with its Privacy Display technology. Users can activate the privacy protection mode for individual applications, maximizing privacy even when using the device in public places.
The fact that sales are mainly concentrated on the Ultra version also shows that the appeal of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus versions is not really outstanding.
Most of the upgrades on these two models focus on configuration and hardware, while the changes to the user experience are not significant enough to motivate users who own previous generations to upgrade.
In its current price segment, the Galaxy S26 competes directly with the iPhone 17. In addition, the device faces pressure from a number of Android rivals such as the vivo X300, OPPO Find X9s, and Xiaomi 17.
In the context of an increasingly saturated high-end smartphone market, early price reductions can help stimulate short-term demand. However, the deciding factor remains the ability to create a sufficiently significant difference to convince users to upgrade, rather than relying solely on post-launch discounts.
