Students will learn skills in the 2026 Military Semester Program.
With the motto of creating a healthy learning, experiencing, and training environment, the Children's Cultural Center and Sports Center of Hac Thanh Ward ( thuộc the Hac Thanh Ward Public Service Supply Center) currently maintains 25 talent classes and clubs. Here, children can freely choose fields that suit their interests, from music , dance, fine arts, foreign languages to martial arts, sports, life skills, subjects related to Youth Union activities, creative activities, etc. Understanding career trends and children's interests, this year, the Children's Cultural Center and Sports Center of Hac Thanh Ward have also opened classes in robotics; home economics; and training for young reporters.
Beyond simply cultivating knowledge or talent, each class here is designed as a friendly experiential space. Through this, young learners gradually enhance their confidence, develop their talents, teamwork skills, communication skills, and adaptability to a dynamic environment. Simultaneously, through these classes and clubs, talented children are identified and nurtured.
Mr. Hoang Cao Thang, Director of the Public Service Center of Hac Thanh Ward, said: “The Hac Thanh Children's Cultural Center and Sports Center has a modern architecture and is equipped with advanced facilities on a 4.1-hectare plot of land. The highlight of the project is the 7-story building, which hosts talent training classes and skills classes... The auxiliary area includes a 3-story building, a 300-seat gymnasium, and a covered physical activity area. The Sports Center component is comprehensively invested with an indoor swimming pool, artificial turf football field, tennis courts, basketball courts... A highlight is the unique steel-framed dome swimming pool, with a water surface area of 500m2 and 8 standard lanes, suitable for organizing swimming competitions for teenagers and children. Along with that are changing rooms, crowd control areas, technical rooms, medical rooms... The scientifically organized and flexibly connected spaces will create an ideal environment for children to participate in activities and experiences.”
Le Thi Phuong Nhi, from Hac Thanh ward, happily said: “Participating in summer activities at the Children's Cultural Palace and Hac Thanh Sports Center has been very enjoyable and beneficial. Not only has it helped me and my friends gain more knowledge, skills, and fun during the summer, but it's also a beneficial, healthy, and safe playground for students. I enjoy participating in team activities, so I chose the team leadership course, which helps me develop my talent and perfect the necessary skills of a good team leader.”
At the Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Center in Sam Son ward, from classrooms to playgrounds with various skill-building activities, everything contributes to creating enriching summer days for children, helping them to have fun and develop skills appropriate for their age.
The center organized skills summer camps for over 600 youth group leaders with content such as: professional training in youth group work, youth group rituals, skills in organizing group activities; equipping practical life skills such as drowning prevention, fire prevention, school violence prevention, along with many cultural, artistic, sports, folk dance, campfire activities... In addition, the center also organized many summer talent classes for children in swimming, martial arts, dance, basketball, badminton... Attracting more than 400 children and teenagers, contributing to creating a healthy playground and comprehensive development for them during the summer.
Over the years, the center has also collaborated with the 341st Division to organize the "Semester in the Army" program in Thanh Hoa province in 2026, contributing to the training of discipline, life skills, courage, and traditional education for young people.
Another attractive destination chosen by many young people this summer is the Provincial Library. From June 1st, 2026, the "Little Sun" cloud-based digital library at https://mattroinho.vtv.vn/ officially launched, offering a free collection of audiobooks and e-books for children nationwide. Fairy tales, children's literature, skill-building books, and useful knowledge are presented through the voices of famous MCs, artists, actors, and many other beloved figures, making the pages more lively and accessible. With the advantage of being able to read and listen to books anytime, anywhere with just an internet-connected device, it nurtures the soul, sparks imagination, and fosters a love of reading in young children.
