According to the Minister of Science and Technology, at the beginning of July, the Ministry will issue a decision to establish a national creative startup support center in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Information was announced by Minister Huynh Thanh Dat when answering questions from delegate Tran Chi Cuong (Deputy Delegation of Da Nang), on the morning of June 7.
Mr. Dat said that the project to build a national innovation startup support center in the three cities mentioned above has been completed. Once established, the centers will exploit local resources, towards a model of testing sandbox policy in new areas that have not yet been regulated; exploit and connect a team of national and international experts.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said the Government's general policy is to prioritize the establishment of the National Innovation Startup Center. From the previous policy, up to now, there has been a decree on the functions and tasks of the center and a very prominent center in Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park (Hanoi) has been built.
According to Mr. Hue, Vietnam has encouraged foreign corporations and businesses to invest in innovation centers in Vietnam and initially got good results. For example, Samsung Group, after a long time of research, has developed a very large center in Tay Ho Tay area worth 220 million USD, enough capacity for 3.000 domestic and foreign scientists to research information technology. .

From that fact, new authorities have the basis to deploy innovation startup centers in other regions such as Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. "The beginning is difficult, the establishment of these centers is arduous both in terms of the legal framework, the organization of forces, and the construction of facilities," said Mr. Hue.
The National Center for Supporting Innovative Start-ups is a public science and technology organization under the Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises. The Center has a mission to support innovative startups and promote the development of the startup ecosystem.
