On the afternoon of August 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to review the implementation of the Campaign "Changing the way of thinking and doing of ethnic minorities, helping ethnic minorities rise out of poverty sustainably".

The Conference was chaired by comrades: Duong Van Trang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; A Pot – Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
Attending the Conference were members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of departments, divisions, branches, district party committees, city party committees.
Under the drastic direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the efforts of all levels, branches and the political system, after 2 years of implementation, the campaign entered the lives of ethnic minorities, gained by all strata. People agree to respond and participate. The implementation of the Campaign has built point models, creating spillover effects for poor and near-poor households who are ethnic minorities. Accordingly, there are 12.307 poor and near-poor households who are ethnic minorities (accounting for more than 50%) who have changed their way of thinking, no longer have the thought of expecting, relying on the support and assistance of the State, self-reliant to reach out. get out of poverty; 25.035 poor and near poor ethnic minority households (99,04%) were propagated and disseminated about the campaign's contents; By the end of 2022, there are 6.115 ethnic minority households escaping poverty, exceeding the set target.
At the Conference, a number of localities and units reported on and shared good and creative ways to make clear changes in the implementation of the Campaign; propose practical solutions to implement locally in the near future.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Hoa suggested: In the coming time, Party committees and local authorities at all levels need to step up advocacy and propaganda to raise vigilance against instigation. urge, seduce, not sell young agricultural products to traders and traders because this is a form of “black credit”; gradually practice the habit of taking short to raise long for economic development and income enhancement; mobilize people to give up the habit of using herbicides; propagandize people not to use alcohol of unknown origin, and at the same time restore the traditional yeast wine of their nation; mobilize and create conditions for ethnic minorities to join cooperatives in the locality.

Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Duong Van Trang noted the results achieved by all levels and sectors after more than 2 years of implementing the Campaign. He suggested that, in the coming time, all levels and branches continue to propagate, thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Campaign associated with Directive No. 12-CT/TU, dated February 18, 2 “On strengthening the leadership of Party committees at all levels for the construction of new rural villages in ethnic minority areas”, Directive No. 2022-CT/TU, dated March 13, 18 “on strengthening leadership in propagating and mobilizing people to abolish unsuitable customs and practices" of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the programs, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Government and the province on the work of the provincial Party Committee. ethnicity, ethnic policy; promote the leadership role of the Party Committee, continue to renovate the contents and methods, improve the quality and operational efficiency of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; assigning typical cadres, party members, collaborators and individuals to directly propagate, mobilize, advise, guide and support poor and near-poor ethnic minority households to choose models, production methods and business businesses to rise up out of poverty sustainably with the motto "go to every alley, knock door to door", "the rain soaks in for a long time", "hold hands and just work"... in order to arouse the will to self-reliance to rise out of poverty of the ethnic minorities. .
He suggested that all levels and sectors need to integrate national target programs and social security policies with the content of the Campaign, other movements and campaigns organized by the Vietnam Front. national and socio-political organizations; mobilize maximum resources to support the development of models for implementation of the Campaign in localities and units associated with local socio-economic development programs; mobilize, guide and create conditions for poor and near-poor ethnic minority households to access and effectively use concessional loans; organize learning to exchange experiences in implementing the campaign between localities in the province and for poor households to contact, exchange, learn from each other's experiences, and help each other to have more and more models. nice; promptly praising good examples, real people, real things for the compatriots to learn and follow.
He emphasized that all levels and branches continue to improve the effectiveness of the emulation movement "Skillful people", especially in new rural construction, compensation and site clearance to implement development projects. socio-economic in the province... Strengthening propaganda, raising awareness of ethnic minorities in the management and protection of social welfare works invested by the State for long-term and sustainable use; actively respond to and participate in the movement "All people protect national security", raise the spirit of vigilance, do not listen, do not believe, do not follow the incitement, instigation and manipulation of enemy forces enemies, reactionaries, when detecting suspicious information or objects, they must promptly notify the Party committees, local authorities and functional forces for handling; strengthen the inspection and supervision of the organization and implementation of the Campaign in the province. At the same time, regularly review to evaluate the results and praise and replicate good models and effective ways to make the Campaign really achieve real results.
