THE 8TH "PHO OF LOVE" EVENT - 2026

The 8th edition of "Pho of Love" was organized with the desire to contribute to caring for the material and spiritual lives of local people, workers, laborers, and students in difficult circumstances in an area undergoing rapid industrial and urban transformation; and at the same time, to spread humanitarian values ​​and the spirit of sharing through a traditional dish that embodies the rich cultural identity of Vietnam.

At the event, chefs from leading Vietnamese pho brands and high-end hotels belonging to the Saigontourist Group cooked and served 12,000 free bowls of pho to workers, laborers, and students in Bau Bang commune and surrounding areas, including Long Hoa commune, Ben Cat ward, Long Nguyen ward, Tru Van Tho commune, and An Long commune. Besides serving pho, the program also included pho cooking demonstrations; vocational training and sustainable livelihood counseling for the people; and cultural performances.
In particular, the Organizing Committee presented 350 gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Bau Bang commune and neighboring communes and wards, contributing to practical support for families at the beginning of the year.

In addition, the Organizing Committee directly visited and presented three gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in Bau Bang commune, each worth 5,000,000 VND (including cash and gifts), demonstrating the spirit of "remembering the source when drinking water," and expressing gratitude to those who have contributed to the country.

Many key member units of Saigontourist Group participated in coordinating the program, including Rex Saigon, Majestic Saigon, Grand Saigon, Continental Saigon, Kim Do, De Nhat hotels, Saigontourist Travel Service Company, Hoa Viet Joint Venture Company, Saigontourist Tourism and Hotel School, and Saigontourist Cable Television Company. The synchronized participation of these member units demonstrates the social responsibility and community-building tradition of Saigontourist Group – a leading state-owned enterprise in the tourism and service sector of Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking about the significance of the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa – President of Saigontourist Group and co-chair of the 8th "Pho of Love" program – shared: “Pho of Love is not just a culinary event, but also an activity with profound social significance. After eight editions, "Pho of Love" has increasingly affirmed its humanitarian value and positive impact on the community. The 2026 event in Bau Bang commune and surrounding areas will continue to be a milestone demonstrating the commitment of Saigontourist Group and Tuoi Tre Newspaper to accompanying people and workers, contributing to building a sustainable and compassionate community.
The 8th "Pho of Love" event marks a new stage in the strategic partnership between Saigontourist Group and Tuoi Tre Newspaper, building on the success and acclaim of the Vietnam Pho Festival series in Japan in 2023, South Korea in 2024, and Singapore in 2025. This event also kicks off a series of activities within the framework of the Vietnam Pho Festival 2026, jointly organized by Saigontourist Group and Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and is expected to take place in Australia in the third quarter of this year.
