The truth about the "child kidnapping" case in Lam Dong

Upon receiving the above information, the Madaguoi Town Police coordinated with the Phu Son Commune Police, Tan Phu District (Dong Nai) to urgently verify. Up to now, the authorities have not had any basis to determine that this was a case of “child kidnapping” as the information spread on social networks.

According to the police, the man arrested by the people is Mr. TN V (born in 1975, residing in Ward 1, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City). The person accompanying Mr. V is NCT T (born in 2012, residing in Madaguoi town, Da Huoai district, Lam Dong province).

The man was arrested by people on suspicion of "child kidnapping".

Working with the police, Mr. V and T stated that about a week ago, they met through a dating app on social media. Knowing that T wanted to go to Ho Chi Minh City to find a job, Mr. V offered to help and find a job for T.

On the afternoon of April 10, as scheduled, Mr. V drove his motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City to pick up T in Madaguoi town, Da Huoai district. At around 6:20 p.m., T proactively sent her location for Mr. V to pick her up, and then they both traveled along Highway 20 towards Ho Chi Minh City.

When leaving the area with a stranger and acting furtively, T was discovered by friends and informed his family. T's family immediately chased after him. When they reached Phu Son commune, Tan Phu district, they saw Mr. V carrying T, so they called for local people to surround and arrest him.

The incident is currently being verified and clarified by the police.
