The rescheduled match of Round 10 of the V-League 2025-2026 at Thanh Hoa Stadium last night (February 24th) brought unforgettable emotions to fans, where the courageous spirit of the Thanh Hoa team clashed with the prowess of the top stars of Hanoi Police FC (CAHN). Despite facing numerous difficulties, the home team Thanh Hoa once again surprised fans with their tenacious play. Coach Mai Xuan Hop's team played a stubborn defense, seizing every small opportunity to realize their ambition of shocking the league leaders. Their efforts paid off in the 29th minute when Laotian player Damoth Thongkhamsavath once again played a leading role for Thanh Hoa with a skillful lob to open the scoring. However, that wasn't enough to help Thanh Hoa FC continue their miraculous run against an opponent superior in every aspect. The key factor that helped CAHN FC make a difference was possessing world-class stars who knew how to shine at the right moment and turn the tide of the game. In particular, Brazilian striker Alan Sebastiao with a brace, and especially the moment of brilliance from Doan Van Hau, helped coach Mano Polking's team come from behind to win 3-1.

The highlight of CAHN FC's victory was Doan Van Hau's spectacular goal in the 66th minute, which put them 2-1 up. With just a moment of keen observation from near the halfway line, the 27-year-old defender unleashed a daring shot that sent the ball into the net, much to the astonishment of the spectators. This goal held great significance for Van Hau, marking his return after a long absence from the pitch due to injury. This beautiful goal also brought back memories of his stunning trivela goal against Oman U23 in 2018 – a period when Van Hau shone brightly in the U23 and Vietnam national team jerseys. Furthermore, the goal against Thanh Hoa FC provided a huge psychological boost, giving Van Hau the confidence to regain his peak form. His performance in the V-League is also the best way for him to regain the trust of coach Kim Sang-sik, opening the door to a return to the Vietnam national team in the near future. Leaving Thanh Hoa with 3 points, CAHN Club extended their unbeaten streak to 12 matches, solidifying their position at the top of the V-League table with 32 points. The police team increased their lead over second-placed Ninh Binh Club (27 points) to 5 points, further confirming their status as the top contender for the championship this season.
On the same day, a dramatic match took place between The Cong Viettel and Nam Dinh FC. Nam Dinh, with their outstanding striker Nguyen Xuan Son, were unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Viet also played brilliantly, making several crucial saves. The Cong Viettel played a more cautious game, capitalizing on set pieces to create turning points. Khuat Van Khang unleashed a tricky free kick that forced goalkeeper Nguyen Manh into a difficult save, creating an opportunity for Le Quoc Nhat Nam to tap in the only goal of the match. This victory gives The Cong Viettel a total of 25 points, securing their place in the top 3 of the league table.
