Leveraging the strengths of women in the area across various fields, the Women's Union of the ward has effectively implemented the movement "Building the Image of the Modern Quang Ninh Woman," creating motivation for members to develop their dynamic, creative, compassionate, and benevolent qualities. One of the outstanding highlights is the economic development models run by women. In the Dong Chanh area, Ms. Do Thuy Linh's Linh's crochet knitting model provides stable employment for nearly 40 workers, over 90% of whom are Dao ethnic women and disadvantaged women. Handicraft products such as stuffed animals, dolls, and souvenirs not only serve tourism but are also exported to Europe, bringing in an income of 4-5 million VND per month for workers. Organizing free monthly knitting classes also helps spread the spirit of sharing, creating opportunities for many women to access new skills and confidently develop their family's economy.
In Zone 2, the integrated garden farming model of Ms. Hoang Thi Nhi's family exemplifies the spirit of overcoming difficulties and daring to think and act. On an area of 1.5 hectares, her family has cultivated more than 350 peach trees for Tet (Lunar New Year), 300 sapodilla trees, and many other types of safe fruit trees, becoming a shining example of local economic success. With loan support from the Women's Union, Ms. Nhi and her husband boldly expanded production, applied new techniques, created stable income, and inspired many other members.
Alongside economic development, women in Yen Tu are also a core force in preserving and promoting cultural identity associated with spiritual tourism and contributing to bringing the ward's OCOP products closer to tourists.

Besides exemplary models, the women's movement in Yen Tu ward during the 2021-2025 period also achieved many outstanding results. The association completed and exceeded all 8/8 targets of the Women's Congress Resolution at the commune level. The ward currently has 4,275 members, operating in 35 branches and 114 women's groups. The movement "Women actively studying, working creatively, and building happy families" attracted over 4,000 members who registered and met the standards annually. The campaign "Building families with 5 no's and 3 clean's" was linked to practical activities such as women-managed road sections, household waste sorting, and collecting scrap materials to raise funds to support poor women... During the past term, 20 out of 34 branches maintained the "turning waste into money" model, collecting over 30 million VND to support disadvantaged women and children. Key tasks such as monitoring, social criticism, participation in Party and government building, supporting women's integration, and enhancing digital capacity have all been implemented systematically and effectively. In particular, the "Godmother" and "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" programs have been implemented with great humanity, with 13 godmothers supporting 6 orphaned children; hundreds of gifts and over 50 million VND have been sent to women and children in border regions.
With a spirit of unity, innovation, and creativity, women in Yen Tu ward are continuing to affirm their role as a vital force in the socio-economic development of the locality. Their exemplary models and effective approaches have spread widely, contributing to building the image of the modern Quang Ninh woman: strong-willed, compassionate, creative, and full of aspirations.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of the ward, said: In the coming time, the Women's Union of the ward will continue to innovate the content and methods of its activities, focusing on the needs of its members; strengthening the application of digital transformation in management, operation and communication. In particular, the Union will focus on supporting women in developing sustainable livelihoods, improving the quality of existing production models, and replicating startup models associated with community tourism, OCOP products and unique local services.
