Nestled in the rocky plateau, Sa Phin is entering its first spring under the new administrative model with a new look. From a streamlined and smoothly operating administrative apparatus to significant transformations in socio-economic development, this land nestled in the mountains is showing new vitality, bursting forth from the unity and determination of the government and its people. Achievements in the first spring

As the vibrant pink blossoms of the wild peach trees begin to open, the new administrative apparatus of Sa Phin commune is recording its first achievements, like the vigorous strides of spring arriving on the rocky plateau. Immediately after completing the merger of the four former communes, the Sa Phin Commune Party Committee organized important conferences; resolutions on organizational structure, establishment of specialized agencies, and personnel arrangements were implemented quickly and synchronously. The Commune People's Committee assigned clear tasks to each field, ensuring that all activities ran smoothly. All officials and civil servants embraced a spirit of discipline, seriousness, and punctuality; clearly defining their responsibilities and immediately getting to work to avoid missing the new pace of work.

Comrade Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the People's Committee of Sa Phin commune, affirmed: "Our greatest success in the initial phase is the synchronization, unity, and administrative discipline. The new apparatus has operated stably from day one, the people have not been affected, and procedures have remained smooth. This is the foundation for Sa Phin to confidently move towards bigger goals."

Not only is the administrative apparatus stable, but the socio-economic landscape of Sa Phin also boasts a bright picture: The value of production in small-scale handicraft industries reached 22.8 billion VND; total retail sales of goods in the commune reached 136.5 billion VND, achieving 109.3% of the plan. 64.6 hectares of low-yield crops were converted to high-value crops. The Public Administrative Service Center was built and equipped with modern facilities; OCOP products and local specialties are increasingly available in the domestic market.

In particular, in the tourism sector, the commune is expected to welcome over 261,000 visitors in 2025, achieving 124.7% of the annual plan. Education has made a significant mark; the work of creating jobs for local laborers has yielded high results. During the year, the commune received and processed 3,999 applications, achieving 100% completion ahead of schedule, demonstrating strong efforts in digital transformation.

As Sa Phin transforms into spring, a light mist blankets the traditional tiled-roof houses, and each village seems to burst with new life. The sound of the bamboo flute blends with the mountain wind, urging this border commune to move quickly on its path of development. Entering the new year, Sa Phin continues to aim for the following goals: building a clean and strong Party and political system; fostering social consensus in achieving socio-economic development goals and tasks, maintaining political security and social order in the area. Simultaneously, it aims to build a streamlined government that better serves the people; accelerate digital transformation; improve community tourism destinations; develop agriculture using new technologies; preserve traditional culture; and raise incomes and improve the living standards of ethnic minorities.

Comrade Do Quoc Huong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sa Phin commune, shared: "The new year opens up many opportunities for us. Building on the foundation we have already established, the commune aims to attract more tourists to its traditional festivals and unique natural landscapes. The commune's Party Committee will continue to guide and support the people, leveraging the strength of unity to make Sa Phin a shining example in the highlands of the border region of Tuyen Quang province."

The spring air fills the newly opened roads leading into the villages; children frolic in their brightly colored skirts, and the elderly smile warmly by the fire. Sa Phin is undergoing a transformation while preserving its ethnic cultural identity. The new spring brings new hope, and with steady steps, Sa Phin, like a young sapling having just overcome the cold, is reaching out to welcome the first rays of a glorious spring – a spring of renewal, development, and faith.
