Sun Life Vietnam is partnering with Saigon Heat to implement a series of High Hoops Basketball Day programs and provide teaching support for children aged 8 to 15 in Hanoi , Vinh, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
By participating in High Hoops, children will have a vibrant and meaningful weekend learning new skills, playing basketball, and interacting with the coaches and outstanding players of the reigning VBA champions – Saigon Heat. In addition, high-achieving children will have the opportunity to escort the players to the starting lineup for the 2025 VBA season.
The High Hoops basketball festival for children aged 8 to 15 will be held in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang , Nghe An, and Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, Sun Life, together with the Saigon Heat basketball team, will collaborate with local schools and clubs to implement community basketball classes for children aged 8 to 13. Each class will have 20-35 students, providing them with opportunities to learn basketball, hone their skills, and, more importantly, develop healthy and active lifestyle habits.

In early 2024, Sun Life also collaborated with Saigon Heat and Beyond Sport (as part of the “Hoops + Health” partnership project between Sun Life and Beyond Sport) to invest in renovating a basketball court for young basketball enthusiasts, named Sun Life Sports Space. This aims to promote physical activity and a healthier lifestyle for young people, demonstrating Sun Life and its partners' commitment to providing safe sports facilities and improving the physical and mental health of the community.
