As of 4:00 AM on March 11, 2025, the price of gold on the exchanges of several companies was as follows:
At Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC), DOJI Group, and Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price of gold bars was listed at 90.9 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 92.9 million VND/ounce (selling price), unchanged in both buying and selling directions compared to the close of yesterday's trading session.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the buying price of SJC gold is 92.1 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 93.2 million VND/ounce. Thus, compared to yesterday's session, the selling price of gold remains unchanged, while the buying price has decreased by 20,000 VND/ounce.
Bao Tin Manh Hai Co., Ltd. listed the price of SJC gold at 84.4 million VND/ounce (buying price) and 86.4 million VND/ounce (selling price). This price remained unchanged in both buying and selling directions compared to the close of yesterday's trading session.

The current buying price for SJC 9999 gold rings is 91.1 million VND/ounce and the selling price is 93 million VND/ounce. The price of gold rings has increased by 200,000 VND/ounce in both buying and selling directions compared to the close of yesterday's trading session.
For Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold rings (DOJI), the buying price increased to 91.9 million VND/ounce and the selling price increased to 93.4 million VND/ounce, an increase of 300,000 VND/ounce in the buying price and 200,000 VND/ounce in the selling price compared to yesterday.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 91.9-93.5 million VND/ounce (buying price - selling price); an increase of 200,000 VND/ounce in both buying and selling prices.

According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:00 AM Vietnam time today was $2,908.01 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is down 0.12% compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,754 VND/USD), the world gold price is approximately 90.2 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 2.7 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

According to Reuters, gold prices fell due to profit-taking, contrasting with safe-haven demand driven by geopolitical uncertainty, while attention was also focused on US inflation data.
Spot gold prices fell 0.3% to $2,902.04 per ounce at 1:28 PM GMT, after rising 2% last week. US gold futures fell 0.2% to $2,908.00.
Jim Wyckoff, senior analyst at Kitco Metals, said: "Gold prices have stalled a bit due to some light profit-taking and a weaker stock market. However, we can still see the value of this safe-haven demand."
US stock index futures fell amid concerns that retaliatory tariffs could impact the world's largest economy.
President Donald Trump declined to predict whether the United States might face a recession amid stock market concerns over his tariff actions.
Trump imposed new 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada last Tuesday, along with new tariffs on Chinese goods. But two days later, he waived the tariffs on many Mexican imports and some Canadian imports for a month.
Wyckoff said: "Uncertainty related to trade wars and a global economic recession is both beneficial for gold, and gold prices could reach record highs again. Weaker-than-expected data will also benefit gold."
Investors are also watching the US Consumer Price Index data to be released on Wednesday and the Producer Price Index to be released on Thursday. Traders are now fully pricing in a US interest rate cut in June.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said it remains to be seen whether the Trump administration's tariff plan will cause inflation. Low interest rates increase the attractiveness of non-yielding gold bullion.
Spot silver prices fell 0.3% to $32.44 per ounce.
"Investment in silver is expected to see a modest improvement... However, broader economic concerns, particularly concerning the Chinese economy, could dampen investor enthusiasm," Marex consultant Edward Meir said in a note. Data showed China's imports unexpectedly fell in January-February, while the consumer price index declined at its fastest pace in 13 months in February.
Platinum rose 0.5% to $967.85 and palladium increased 0.6% to $954.00.
